My wife and I spent 5 nights here after reviews from tripadvisor and recommendations from friends. The absolute stand out of this hotel is the service. Everyone is friendly and goes out of their way to help you. Be it organising bookings, transfers to and from the airport (free of charge if you email them in advance), and as well general matters. It's a 10-15 min walk from jemaa el fna through the old town of the Kasbah, which is a relatively pleasant walk (depending on the route you take),

Each room is unique. We stayed in the Zagora (romantic suite) which was quite nice, but the aircon wasn't working properly so we were transferred straight away to Essouria, which was a stunning room with beautiful carved art work on the ceiling.

The breakfast is quite good, with a selection of Moroccan pastries and bread with jams, honey and cheese with yoghurt and mint tea/ coffee.

Overall the service is 5*, the actual hotel more probably a 4*.

Room Tip: Essouria was a very nice room.

Stayed for three nights, I cannot see the room we had on the internet which probably tells me that it was not the best room in the house. The room was nice but a little dark, The location was good if you want to be in the thick of it and I did not feel threatened or unseasy walking round at night with my partner, I would not be comfortable walking roung on my own as a female. There is a bar serving wine and beer at good prices which does seem to be quite rare so plus point for that. Although the riad supplies toiletries if you are a little fussy like me then take your own as the bottles look battered and im guessing that they are refilled with cheap products. Breakfast average, I feel honestly this is 4* not 5*

Beware taxi drivers who don't know this riad and dump you on the other side of the medina late at night! Even if they have the right address it is hard to find - but it's totally worth the extra effort.
This riad is the ideal place to stay in Marrakech - it's beautifully decorated, calm and quiet. The staff are great - particularly our concierge Abdul who organised taxis, gave us directions and lot of mint tea and really helped us feel at home.
Breakfast is good and bountiful - ask to have it on the roof which has views across the city rooftops to the Atlas mountains.
We really felt we were staying somewhere luxurious but welcoming and it was a relief to have such a lovely place to retreat to after walking around the craziness that is Marrakech.
The only thing that wasn't quite great was the meal we had in the riad, which was a little expensive for what it was.

We stayed in the Riad for 3 nights and couldn't have asked for anything better. Our room was stunning, with a beautiful carved wooden ceiling and a lovely fireplace. The service was excellent, mint tea on arrival and a quick intro to the city with the manager.

This Riad is right in the middle of the Kasbah, a crazy, noisy and very busy area! But once inside the hidden wooden entrance it's an oasis of calm and peace. You enter directly into the main courtyard with pool and lovely relaxing seating area. In the day you can sit and listen to the birds and at night the atmosphere changes into a romantic candle lit area, perfect with a glass of wine in hand!

Breakfast in the Riad was good, a mixture of warm pancakes, bread, yoghurt and pastries. Enough to keep you going throughout the day! We also ate dinner here one night which was also very good.

We also sampled a Hammam in the Riad's spa. This is not for the faint-hearted, expect to be scrubbed till there are tears in your eyes! All part of the fun though and would recommend as part of the 'Marrakesh experience'!

I would recommend anyone to stay here and feel the Riad's magic, it really was something special! Would also recommend eating at Pepe Nero, we booked in advance before we arrived and had some amazing food. The actual place is tricky to find and down some dark alleys! But once there is simply stunning, a real treat!

Room Tip: We stayed on the second floor which was very quiet.

We arrived in a taxi from Imlil and our driver called the hotel to come and meet us. You would never find this place without being met! Behind the wooden door there is an oasis of calm with the suites set on the ground floor around the pool and the standard rooms upstairs. The suite we had was lovely with all we needed and the roof terrace was a real bonus with great views - a real sun trap! We were served mint tea and biscuits on arrival which is a good touch. Breakfast was lovely and we had dinner in our deal (booked through Last Minute) which was also great. The service was good - all the staff helpful and smiley. All in all a very good riad in the heart of the Kasbah!

Bang smack in the middle of the local Kasbah.... from the outside you will think oh my god what have I done... as soon as you step inside it is a massive WOW... stunning moroccan architecture through and through. You walk in to an immediate view of the pool on the ground floor when you look up it is open air, surrounded by some of the rooms and a comfortable seating area. To the left and up the stairs is the restaurant area and a tv/library room. Upstairs on the second floor is the rest of the rooms/suites and a further comfortable seating area, you then go upstairs again to the roof terrace for sunbathing or eating. The food was amazing; french style breakfast croissants, crepes, warm bread, and Moroccan style lunch (3 courses - drinks not included), we went half board, breakfast & lunch and really didn't need to eat again. The staff were helpful but speak little or No English, if you know French brush up on your skills. We had the place to ourselves which was wonderfully peaceful after you have been out and about in the madness of the Kasbah or the DJemma El Fna Market (approx 5-10 mins walk).

Don't purchase transfer with this Riad, they send a driver to pick you up and also return you to the airport on way back. You can purchase water etc from many of the shops in the Kasbah rather than from mini fridge in hotel. There is also a money exchange 2 mins from the hotel on the way towards the mosc. We found that maps didn't really help in finding places just gives a rough idea. If a local shows you the way, he will expect payment, be prepared to barta for taxi's etc.....!

We booked with Travel Republic who are just an agent and book hotels and flights separately, they secured and paid for our Riad when the flight was not confirmed, Thomson's then decided to increase the price... 3 TIMES. This went on over 3 days; £20, then £80, then £160. I was disgusted, I would never of purchased a hotel without securing a flight first. I was told by a Travel Republic agent that if we cancelled we would lose most of our money. So we really did not have a choice. In the end they knocked £30.00 off for inconvenience....... Also another note whilst we were waiting for the increased flights to be confirmed, the original price was still being shown on the website.... false advertising..???? I would never use either Travel Republic or Thomson's again if I can help it!

Room Tip: All suites on the 2nd floor are of absolute top quality, we stayed on the first suite on the left...
