“Absolutely excellent!”

Really excellent hotel! Such great attention to detail - clean, safe, great location, beautiful building and atrium, good facilities, relaxing, free freshly pressed orange juice(so good!) and water. The people working there are so friendly and helpful in a really genuine way. Aziz, who runs the riad, went out of his way to help us out. He was also great for honest and helpful advice about how to navigate Marrakech, from hagging and best places to eat to getting lost and safety. We trusted his advice and had a wonderful trip. If I was really forced to give a negative, the only thing I'd say is that the room was a little damp, but not so much that it bothered us.
Overall, I strongly recommend this riad/hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the first floor (i.e. not ground). We had one of these and I think it was preferab...

The staff at Aguerzame really made us feel welcome, always greated us with a smile and provided excellent service. Aziz, Laziza and Laila consistently went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.

We stayed 3 nights in the Red room and 2 nights in the Green room (on either side of 4 days in the Atlas mountains). Both rooms were very comfortable, clean and quiet. The red room is slightly larger. The courtyard and the roof terrace offer additional space to hang out.

Aguerzame is centrally located less than 5 minutes walk from Jemaa el Fna square, yet like a quiet oasis once you step inside. It benefits from being on a pedestrian only side street and have no windows towards the street.

Aziz gave a great introduction to Marrakech, some good recommendations for places to eat like Pepenero and Salama (both a little pricy, but food was excellent) and when to avoid the crowds at the key sights. Another example of how staff goes above and beyond was Laziza's offer to get us a tajine in the souk. Whenever we came back from to the Riad they would always welcome us with mint tea and fresh pressed orange juice.

We would highly recommend staying there and hope to return ourselves one day.

Room Tip: Rooms upstairs will by default be less noisy and more private than the one at courtyard level.

We stated for 3 nights and have to say the Riad was as expected from the reviews. Aziz and his staff were all very welcoming and informative. We went on a trip to the mountains which was excellent and a great escape from the hustle of the city. Had dinner at pepe Nero which was good although pricey. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this Riad to other travellers

My husband and I just arrived home from our week long trip to Morocco. We spent our first three nights at Riad Aguerzame and could not have been more pleased with our experience. It was clean, welcoming, comfortable and exceeded our expectations. Aziz was a fantastic host and was incredibly helpful not only for suggestions on experiencing the city but also with changing our plans (unexpected) for the next stop on our trip to Fes. Every recommendation he gave for sites, food, ect. was A+. When we arrived at our Riad in Fes, the first thing we said to each other was that we wished Aziz was there to show us this city and make us feel as comfortable as we did in Marrakech! The location is perfect for exploring the city and you will feel right at home here. I would recommend this to anyone!

We stayed at Riad Aguerzame last week and had a fantastic 3 days in Marrakech. Upon arrival at the Riad, Aziz (one of the hosts) greeted us with a warm welcome and mint tea/orange juice/cakes and fruit... Perfect after an early start to the day in London! Aziz then sat with us for a while and told us about Marrakech (best places to see, best restaurants and also which times to go to each attraction... Great inside knowledge not available in the lonely planet!). Aziz also walked us to the main square to help us get our bearings (just 5minutes walk from Riad), which was really useful as you can easily get lost in Marrakech! The Riad itself is stunning... Lovely rooms, quiet inner court yard where breakfast/dinner is served (and mint tea/freshly squeezed orange juice/bottled water available for free any time during the day)... And also a really nice roof terrace with sun loungers and tables. Couldn't have asked for more from this 3 day stay... Aziz even helped book our travel to the Atlas Mountains and arranged for transfers etc. So in short, if you are going to Marrakech, make sure you stay here! Thank you Aziz and the Riad Aguerzame team.

I stayed with 2 friends for 4 nights in February this year and the riad is in a brilliant location - just 10 minutes walk from the main square and the souks. Laurent and Aziz were very welcoming and helpful, taking us out on our first afternoon so that we could get our bearings. The riad is very peaceful and the rooftop terrace is the perfect place to relax. Our room was big and comfortable with a large bathroom and shower. On the first night we ate in the riad and the meal was delicious. Laurent recommended and booked other restaurants for us on subsequent evenings and they were all excellent.
Thank you Laurent and Aziz.

Wonderful place, and Simon and Antoine are super hosts. They make you feel at home and are helpful in every possible way. The road is located in a very convenient part of the medina, and not hard to find.
Will stay there again for sure

Room Tip: All the rooms seem to be good but there is some noise from room to room. Not a place for noisy guest...
