We spent a night there and really enjoyed it. Fatima, Hossein and the rest of the staff were lovely, the riad's decoration is traditional with a twist and so is the food which is amazing. Hossein is doing a nouvelle cuisine's version of Moroccan food which is wonderful. Françoise and Mauro

Our arrival at this Riad was made easy with the detailed instructions sent to us by Fatima, the owner. But if in doubt, there are plenty of helpful people around to help you find your way. It is located in the heart of the Medina just off the main laneways thus being easy to access yet quiet.

Much to our delight, the Riad felt immediately comfortable being welcomed on our arrival by a warm and friendly team who would also prove to be very helpful throughout our stay. If you need something, they will assist you with it. They frequently check to make sure you are comfortable and you have everything you need. If you wish to arrange something for any aspect of your visit to Meknes, they will assist.

The food served here is worth mentioning. Hassan, business manager and chef extraordinaire, likes to exercise his well developed skills and provide you with some culinary delights. With advanced notice, he will prepare you a gastronomic treat for dinner. Breakfast is among the best and the superb dinners were at a decent price.

The Riad is tastefully decorated and is truly Moroccan with lots of artifacts throughout, carpets hanging and on the floor as well as traditional furniture and cushions. The staff is diligent in keeping everything clean and hot water was always available with only slight fluctuations in temperature during peak use time. There are heaters in all the rooms that effectively keep the temperatures at a comfortable level, an important factor to consider in January

Overall it proved to be a wonderfully memorable experience.

Room Tip: All the rooms are comfortable and adequate to quite large, depends on your need. However, you should stay for dinner at least one night and enjoy the superb cooking.

Riad with a traditional Moroccan atmosphere and very welcoming family. The rooms are clean and quiet and there is free wi-fi around, within the rooms on the terrace as well with a beautiful view over the medina of Meknes. The dinner is a show of the palate. The owner (Fatima) and the co-manager (Azhan) make you feel more then comfortable in your vacation home.

We stayed at Riad Amazigh for two nights. Hasan and Fatima gave us a very warm welcome with tea and moroccan pastry. We had our room on the top and enjoyed breakfast right in front of our room on the rooftop terrace. Both evenings we had dinner at the riad. Food was really delicious, all prepared freshly by Hasan himself. The owners helped us with our trip to Volubilis and Moulay Idris and came along with all kinds of tips for our stay. Many thanks for having us!

We spent two days/nights here in mid-September. Sylvie was our host, and could not have been more helpful. She arranged for a driver and English-speaking guide to Moulay Idriss and Volubilis, and for a driver to take us to Chefchouen. She is also a great cook, and we had two absolutely delicious dinners at the riad - a chicken tagine with quince and pumpkin and a beef tagine with okra, with outstanding first courses and desserts as well. She also drove us to the huge Marjam (Carrefors) store. Our room was comfortable and the riad, in a good location. We had trouble finding it at first, but were pointed in the right direction by helpful residents. We strongly recommend this riad.
