This riad is small and when we stayed one night in November we were the only guests. It is beautifully decorated with nice rooms which are spacious and very special and romantic! Great for couples I think! The roof terrace and roof dining room are comfortable and have a lovely view. The prices are very reasonable and the service was a great. We were met by one of the staff at the entrance to the old city of Meknes so that we would not get lost! We were served with a complimentary green tea on the roof terrace when we arrived which is standard procedure but this pot of tea was enormous and really good!
We were told that breakfast was at 8.30 but we asked if it could be earlier as we had to catch a train at 8.30. Breakfast was ready at 7.30 which was wonderful. We left on our way to get a taxi to the station and as we were trying to hail a taxi the receptionist ran after us as my friend had forgotten her glasses and umbrella at the riad! Then he helped us hail a taxi which was also helpful.
All in all a small friendly place to stay in a good and central location and with very helpful staff!

Convenient location in the medina, very helpful staff, beautifully decorated rooms, nice view from the roof terrace, good breakfast, very reasonable prices, probably one of the best possibilities to stay in Meknes

Mooneem, the receptionist is really friendly and helpful, the whole place looks pretty, especially the roof terace where you will have breakfast. Our room was pretty, clean and spacious. The location is fine, in the old centre, which is a bit of a maze, but you'll find your way soon enough.

riad Hiba is sited within the Medina itself and is signposted so once you see the first sign from the road is easy to find, however, upon arrival the owner walked back with us to ensure our car was parked ok and helped us with our bags. The riad was so beautiful as was our room and also had air con and tv, and gave us a great nights sleep.

Meknes itself we loved, it's a lot more laid back than other moroccon cities we LOVED it and will never visit morocco without going to meknes, it's a really great place.
Breakfast was great on the roof terrace, no complaints at all and great price

Room Tip: We had the ground floor room which was nice but felt a little like you were getting dressed in recep...

Friendly staff, cheap compared to other riads. Great view from the roof top terrace, where breakfast is also served. Lovely decorated rooms. Be aware that the riad closes at midnight. It is not difficult to find the riad as one can follow the signs from the more visited spots of the medina through smaller streets to the riad.

Room Tip: Even though the riad overall is fairly quiet, the rooms downstairs lets you hear when the other gues...

a really nice place to stay in meknes, well located near the major sights
the riad looks and feels like a little oriental palace, lots of typical decorations
the rooms have all the modern amenities, like aircon, flatscreen tv, wireless, hot shower
breakfast is served on the terrace on the roof, really relaxing!

Riad Hiba is Moroccan owned and the owner's son is a sweet and pleasant man who is always smiling. The room that we had was superbly decorated with authentic Moroccan craft on the walls. It even had a flat screen tv in the room which is not usual for a riad in Morocco. For the price that we paid, it was value for money cause it had a very good location.
The breakfast was fit for a king! There was just so much that we didn't finish it all.
My only regret was that I did not stay longer.
