“Quiet and inviting in great location.”
Reviewed 31 May 2011

A surprisingly easy place to find in comparison to riads in other towns, it's even signposted!

We stayed two nights in their Africa themed room and found it very comfortable and clean, while the neighbouring larger room was even more inviting.

Great views over Place el Hedim from the rooftop.

Considering the location it was very peaceful and the riad was very welcoming with a great character. Nadia and fellow staff are very friendly and put on a great breakfast, however late you may sleep in.

Room Tip: Great rooms on the second floor

We enjoyed this riad very much. Though it was not the luxury of the one we stayed in Marrakech this was also very beautiful, with nice bathrooom - everything in a lovely and elegant Moroccan style. The girl working there was very frindly and nice, also helpful in a very silent way. Lovely terrace with the beutiful view. Only it was a bit noisy as there was some kind of music festival the evening when we stayed - though actually not worth complaining about. Can only be highly recommended.

Great location right by Bab Monsour. Awesome view of the square and city from the terrace. Our suite was very roomy and had quiet a large bathroom. Feel like it's just missing a few minor item to take it from good to great (like providing shampoo would be nice). There's a free computer to use in addition to free wifi which was helpful. Map provided was just awful though. Still good value for money in Meknes

Riad Felloussia is the most amazing place were I have ever stayed at. The location is perfect for Meknes, right next to Place El Hedim and Bab Mansour. We called the riad when we reached Bab Mansour (the big gate) and they came to show us the way to the riad. After you know the way, it is really easy to find, but the first time it was nice to have someone show you the way. When we reached the courtyard of the hotel, it was just breathtaking, a little oasis in hiding in the medina!

We stayed at the suite Toubkal. The room was perfect, the ambiance is just magnifisent. Everything was clean and beautiful. It was the best room I have ever stayed at, I felt like royalty. One thing ab out the room: the stairs are really steep, so if you have trouble with stairs, choose another room.

The food was the best Moroccon food which we tasted during our trip to Morocco, I really recommend that you eat dinner at the Riad. We ate there every night during our stay, because the food was that good! We are vegeterians, so can not comment on any other than veggie-foods.

The staff were really friendly and kind, can not ask for better. I would defenately recommend this Riad to anyone, it is perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Felloussia. I felt cared for even before arriving, with the helpful and friendly emails Lionel (the owner) sent me. We were sent maps and instructions for how to phone once we had arrived so that we could be met and guided through the Medina. This worked perfectly with the lovely Zohra coming to meet us.

The Riad is absolutely beautiful and has been renovated with so much attention to detail. Our room was gorgeous and very comfortable. So much care was taken with the little things that really matter: the drinks on the roof terrace when you first arrive tired after travelling; the TV den (tucked away so noise doesn't disturb the rooms) with a huge selection of DVDs, books and games; the free internet...

Zohra cared for us beautifully and breakfast was absolutely delicious.

Sitting up on the roof terrace overlooking the great square as the sun was setting was magic!

If you're looking for a really beautiful traditional place to stay, in a great location, where you're cared for impeccably, then stay at Riad Felloussia!! It's just as gorgeous as it looks on their website.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this riad for a night, the riad was gorgeous inside, very clean and welcoming. The bedroom was amazing and it was even better than the photo. The bathroom and bedroom were roomy and the living areas were very cozy. Breakfast was fantastic too. Worth every penny and highly recommended.
