Firstly - grand location. right on the beach. lovely rustic wooden interiors - boat and kayak shaped sitting, with sand under your feet. peaceful ambience.
Secondly - wonderful authentic Italian food, especially the pizzas. We had ravioli, pasta, pizzas and tiramisu. I had mine sipping a Tangawizi and loved it. Try out the Amarula post your meal. Similar to Bailey's Irish Cream.
Thirdly - painfully slow service. This seems to be the case overall in Dar es Salam. You must reckon with atleast 45 minutes of endless wait till your order comes to the table. We had to pack the pizza which we had ordered the second time around as some of us had lost our appetite with this never ending wait. Not something anyone would relish especially on a laid back Sunday afternoon. Service definitely needs improvement, and fast!
