“Good For short stay”

Short 2 day stay, but appreciated it. Restaurant is kind of small, and lift is very slow, otherwise was a great stay.
The staff was very friendly and room was cleaned everyday. Very well located and easy to go into town from the tower. Mosque nearby did wake me up early, and thicker curtains could be useful to block out the rays of sun.

Room Tip: Suites are big, and face the road so loud.

The worst room I have ever stayed in, from the min I stepped in all I saw was cockroaches and bed bugs. The bathroom had dirty water coming through. The bed sheet had blood marks and bug poo on it as well.
And on the other hand this is the only hotel that i know that does not serve juice in the morning for breakfast. The waitress said “we won’t be serving juice today.” And when I asked why, they said “because we ran out of juice.”
OVER ALL THE WORST STAY I EVER HAD even though they shifted us into a different room.

After my Arrival to dar es salaam.. landed to hotel.. i was surprised by the Hospitality.. very friendly...staffs and front office.. like Mrs. Hope.. and staffs were really great..
Its simple..neat...clean.. not big hotel... but comfortable Hotel..to stay for long period.. i was really happy to pick this hotel..
which is inside city centre..access to all major places..
They have ZEbra Bar... quite like zebra style after a drink and watch in Big screens foot ball, Cricket..
Resturent is simply cool..

More or less this Hotel i would recommend for all the guests looking for longer stay..

Thanks to all the staff and Management at Nikko Towers for making our stay in DSM comfortable, enjoyable and above all making us feel at home. I would totally recommend Nikko Towers to anyone who is planning to visit Dar - thanks to your hotel, we are taking back wonderful memories

The staff at Nikko Towers are very down to earth. They made us feel like we were their family.
The housekeeping staff, Bell Captain, Receptionist, Chef, Management were simply awesome.

I'd like to thank Dinesh Chattry for running the hotel so well and give extra attention to the finest details to make the guest stay comfortable and memorable.

The hotel is very clean and the location was very good - the food at Glass Chimney is SIMPLY MOUTHWATERING!!

The all inclusive breakfast buffet is really good, lot's of variety of foods for veg and non veg guests.

"Two Thumbs Up"

Room Tip: Standard Deluxe

This is was my first Journey to Tanzania -Dar es salaam. After Landing finishing formalities like Yellow Fever Vaccination check up documents then Immigration clearance was made.. though traffic seams tough ... reached the Hotel Nikko Towers. Warmly welcomed with Juices and not big formalities made in reception immediately put up in the room on the 8 th floor. Very Good view can see the Port as its 1/2 kms walk can have greater View of the Harbour.
Rooms are excellent matching international standards but its compact for Solo traveller but you have twin occupancies..!
Rooms are cleaner.. Beds are high cushioned got good spring..best is you have 4 PILLOWS and 2 cushions in Poly Silk embroidery.. .. 2 side tables 32" TV Sony.. Big mirror... and Very clean Toilets and bath area...
Room Rates are decent.....
Neat Compact Restaurent.. and i used fitness centre OFTEN very good though its small area where 4 can work easily..
Staffs are very Friendly..and nice they provide with lot of Information.. I love this place ...
Easy access to Restaurents.. Lebanon, Indian, Tanzanian foods..
Very Near to KARIAKOO market you get plenty of chinese items less price..!!
Night life is - Bilkana hot place young adults club and major joint for all.... !!!!!
Hottest place is Q-Bar travel 10 kms but very nice ex-pats joint..with just fan's around like old building.. you can dance drink.. dance.. and take away...??
i tried this place and after we went to Indian owned Club that's also very protective and hot.. with english no's and hindi's and Tanzanian music..
Hotel is near to the port the way to ZANZIBAR island.. the beautiful place.. you have to pay 40$ foreigners.. cruise ship... will take you 2.5hrs Journey..
you should visit.. this place..
