Dont be put off by the location or the setting. This is not a typical grill house but rather offers a mix of cuisines over a fairly extensive menu. However, it was for the steak that i went. After perhaps a bit of shaky start as i explained carefully how i wanted my steak (very rare) with mashed potatoes and buttered vegetables i got exactly wanted I wanted. The steak, perfectly rare and soft like butter (being Tanzanian beef I was pleasantly surprised), the mash fluffy and light without lumps and tender al dente vegetables seasoned correctly. Fellow diners i was with ordered the kingfish, also pronounced good while another ordered a well done steak...perhaps a little tough but thats what you get if you order well done steak so cant really fault the kitchen.
I am not the easiest guest to satisfy being a chef by profession so may have made the waiters a little nervous but all credit to Saidi who served us who managed to get everything 100% right. Once the food was out service was a bit more relaxed and but overall attentive.
Prices are pretty reasonable and portions generous and certainly worth another visit.
