After an extensive travel experience we arrived tired and dirty in this oasis. The greeting was fantasitic and it felt like arriving at home. The staff were most helpfull and friendly. To discribe the first impression: It is the cleenist and most luxurious place in TZ. In the bathroom the shaving cream was a bonus and a large, hot shower made the day. Dinner was magnificent and the interaction with staff memebers was fantastic. We were understood, treated well and spoiled by every body. Thank all for a wonderfull stay. This hotel is highly recommended and will surpass your expectations.

Room Tip: You may book any room.

We stayed over at the various hotels across Tanzania and can say without a doubt that the Atlantis Hotel takes honours. The friendliness of staff the top food at Dulce Restaurant made our stay most enjoyable. When we needed to travel to Zanzibar they looked after the bulk of our baggage for two days . The rooms crisp smell of cleanliness is what stood out for me. - hennie

As a frequent patron of Dulce Cafe, I must concur with all the positive reviews posted. Dulce's setting is neat, clean, modern and cosy with an ambience to match. The service, from the warm "Karibu" on arrival to the final "Thank you for your patrionage", is outstanding with friendly waiters (and Management!) at the ready to give you their best! Once or twice I was attended to by a "waiter in training" (it's to be expected, Dulce's being a new restaurant and all) yet the service was always good - there was always a senior staff member close by to assist should the "trainee" stutter or stall. As for the menu, a 5 Star rating, be it for choice, quality, taste, quantity and presentation . . . with the food freshly prepared, so it is worth your while to wait that extra few minutes! I have been to many a Dulce Cafe in South Africa and can confidantly say that OUR Dulce Cafe is on par, if not better!

As a Dar es Salaam resident, I never had the privelage of staying a night at Atlantis Hotel but was privvy to a tour one evening, while dining @ Dulce's. My first impression of the rooms was very positive and I must again agree with some of the reviews posted - modern, spacious, neat and clean as a pin with qualty furniture/furnishings. On occassion, though on short notice, I have attempted to make reservations for visitors, just to be informed that they are fully booked; 100% occupation rates for hotels is not commen nowadays, so this can be an indication that Atlantis Hotel must be doing something right. I am still looking for a reason to stay a night; when done, I will post my review!
