I find that Sundays at the Africafe Coffee House are the perfect sort of relaxation after whatever adventure happened the day before- just to relax and unwind in the air conditioning with a nice cup of cappuccino...bliss

I visited this cafe first in 2011, needing a drink to cool me down from the stinging heat of the East African Coast the milkshake they served was thicker than what you would expect which was a first for me, its been my favourite place to get a shake since then!

Try the Double Espresso Shake, the coffee beans used apparently come from their parent company in Tanzania, so expect top notch African coffee!

They also serve tasty and most importantly freshly cooked food!Tried the grilled chicken and fries and tastes like home-cooked food which is quite heart-warming, the portion is big enough for the price paid.

The beverage prices are slightly less than what you would pay for at starbucks, at almost the same quality.

The place is quite small for large families, however, bear in mind that you are visitng a coffee shop and not a restaurant and downplay your expectations, in order to really appreciate it.!

I dont like giving bad reviews but honesty is why we are all on tripadvisor, they could do alot more with alot less waiters!I hope the manager reads this.

The capuccino at Africafe has become very expensive. Prices were almost doubled. The coffee still is not as good as at Epi d'Or or Karambezi, where you'll pay the same price. Service is far below average, even for Tanzania. Always ask a bill before paying. Some waiters ask a price including the tip they feel entitled to...

In the Seacliff shopping center. We love the pancakes and the steak and eggs. They make great lattes and pastries too. Quiet and airconditioned, which in the hot season is a must!
