Ended up staying here for a few hours after getting in from Tanzania, because my onward connection was several hours later. made a reservation on booking.com, but was told that i would have to pay an additional $20 breakfast fee because it was my wife and I. tried to tell them I was only going to be in the room for a few hours and wouldn't even be in the hotel by the morning. They weren't budging and I didn't feel like arguing so I paid.
Upon going to the room we find dirty towels and what looks a hairdressers go bag. I can only assume that someone was using the room to make some money on the side because the room and contents of the bag looked like mini salon on the good.
We point it out the porter, who goes downstairs to gt us another key. At any rate, we shower and go out to get a bite to eat only to be locked out of our room. The door lock was malfunctioning. The porter comes and bangs on it a few times and voila door opens.
you get what you pay for.
