Very popular for birthdays, engagments, weddings and other celebrations which are usually accompanied by deafening live music...

The shocking part is that the staff will still accept your table booking inspite of being booked for another major event for the night, so you end up being a part of the celebration if that's your thing.

Make sure you check with them in advance if there is any other event going on or your quiet dinner plans might very well turn out into a loud, noisy celebration.

The concept of the restaurant is very interesting for Dar, and yes the restaurant does revolve with 360 views of the city and harbour.

Nice food, great staff :)

Nice restaurant with decent food and a lovely view over the city. The staff is really helpful.

Only downside the restaurant is not cheap.

Hands down, the best food in the country, best service and gotta love the view, 21 floors up. The pricing is also reasonable, for both drinks and food. I was fortunate enough to find the band when I went there, it just added to the whole experience. Recommend it for any type of visit, corporate, family, couples ... you name it really ..

Of course making a comment on the cost overlooks the fact you are 24 floors up in the countries only revolving restaurant and thereby enjoying a unique view of Dar es Salaam. Our meal was very good overall. Our starters of prawn, avocado, & mango salad and the prawn tom yum soup were excellent. As regards the seafood platter the first thing to say is that it was HUGE with a whole lobster, two jumbo prawns plus a piece of line fish which alone would be enough for a decent meal plus some calamari so if you're going to chose the platter don't have lunch and probably also skip breakfast! A couple of minor points on the cooking of the fish, the lobster was very tasty but just a little overcooked as were the prawns; the calamari was rather limp but the line fish was absolutely spot on. Oh I nearly forgot, despite the size of the platter we found room to share a chocolate coulant, which was sensational! So being rather fussy, because of the slightly overcooked elements of the platter I would rate the food 4.5 out of 5 but then the view is definitely a 5. Would I go again if in Dar, definitely!

Given the view and the quality buffet for 35000 tzs, the place is value for money... You can take decent photos of the city skyline and harbour without paying separately for the panoramic view. Drinks are a bit pricey though. It would be nice to have some lettering on the glass labelling the city landmarks as you pass by them.
