This hotel has no charm but it's a very good value. You get all the comfort of a luxurious hotel for a cheap price. Especially after 3 week s of dust, and buses, the shower was great!!!
Actually it's a hotel for businessmen, and it's situated in the indian area, so you have street restaurants open at night (otherwise Dar is empty after 6PM...). A very good adress!

Rooms are ok, breakfast is...boring. Everything is extra, we were two adults and one child in a double room and they wouldn't give us a third towel. Stayed in two different rooms. The shower did not work in the first room, the A/C was a bit dodgy and tiles missing from the floor. If your just sleeping it's ok.

We stayed at the Sleep Inn in the city center of Dar es Salaam. The rooms were clean, large and comfortable. They had a TV and ac, which both worked well. If you are tall (5’10” of taller) than the bed is going to be a bit short. This wouldn’t be a major issue, but there is a footboard. The price included breakfast and that was good, except that you have to pay for water. There was free internet in the lobby, but it didn’t reach the rooms (but was not expensive to purchase the code). The hotel was walking distance to a really good Lebanese restaurant (Albasha). The one issue that I would recommend you watch out for is the taxi service to the airport. They told us it would take over an hour to get to the airport and we knew the price they were quoting us was a bit high, but we trusted that they would not charge us too much. However, once we got out to the taxis it was clear that they were working with the drivers. The taxi ride took less that 15 minutes meaning the price was way too high. Just be careful.

They have two properties, one in city center and kariako. I usually stay in city center-Sleep inn.Centrally located, Big rooms,AC, hot water,TV and Car parking, free computer, Internet at ground floor. Several Indian/local Restaurants in walk able distance. So dinner is not a problem. Taxi stand is near can get taxis 24*7.
Cons They dont have restaurant. Not accepting credit cards, No free wifi in rooms-its chargeable.Breakfast is limited with same varieties daily.

Overall, its good for budget business travelers.

The Sleep Inn that is in the center has good location, nice rooms and good price. There are very few mid-range hotels, all are budget, but really bad or very expensive. Nice balcony, big room, AC and fridge (it was really evening very hot outside, so cool drinks in the evening was a bonus).

Room Tip: With balcony, high as possible
