Room Tip: you can stay at this hotel only if you have no choice

Hotel not too far from the airport about 15 mins. From the city centre a 20 minute walk , taxi a couple of dinars negotiate the price before you get in , you might find it difficult to get a taxi for the return journey. Reception staff OK , no lifts working had to walk up 3 flights of stairs no assistance offered. Room & bathroom both clean & tidy. Plenty of hot water. Sound of traffic noisy but this is Tunis. If you want a decent breakfast get up early , even then you have to hunt for cutlery , bread roll & croissants delicious as you get through out Tunisia. Be careful about eating the eggs they stand for hours next to an open window , stick to the hard boiled eggs on offer. I did not eat during the evening. The hotel is used by patients from nearby countries getting medical treatment at nearby hospitals .

Stayed here for two nights whilst needing to sort paperwork in Tunis
Bellboy came to greet us from taxi took our bags and stayed with us taking bags to our room and he was very pleasant, reception hardly spoke to us just took the voucher and handed us a key.
Room was extremely basic with poor view although clean, fresh sheets and towels next day maid lovely.
Television no English Channel at all
Food...dire!!!! Hardly any choice and what there was was awful. Things are not replaced and are cold. Breakfast passable if get there early enough but dinner was just plain horrible. Had to ask for our own drinks from the hatch waiters more interested in watching tv
All in all a very basic hotel that is dated and in need of a good revamp of staff and food wouldn't stay again

Stayed here for a week, the food was terrible, the staff were very rude, arrogant to customers and lack training. Each time I went to eat in the restaurant I was asked for my room number which is normal but Arabs were not asked for room numbers! I assume any non-resident Arab could just walk in, eat the food and walk out. 15 min walking distance to city centre, taxi to city centre costs 2-3 TND, £1. The hotel is very old and require substantial upgrade! I would avoid this hotel!

I like this hotel. Price is great. Despite 3 star hotel, it offers more things than some 5-star hotels in Tunisia (Sousse). Location is OK, about three kilometers from Medina. You can take a taxi with small fee (must haggle or confirm price before getting on, otherwise the driver will ask for 10 dinars!).

The hotel is away from the city centre. Approx 10-15 minute taxi ride (depending on traffic) into the centre and costs around 2 dinar.
The rooms that overlook the road are quite noisy, however the rooms are pleasant enough and have LCD TVs. Only one lift was working when I stayed here in May 2013. The hotel can exchange currency and there are several banks nearby.
Breakfast buffet - arrive early as they tended to run out of glasses and / or cutlery. The selection of food was better than I expected based on previous reviews.
Evening buffet - this was very popular and the restaurant quickly filled up. There is a large TV in the restaurant and this tended to be on high volume when the football was on!

Le Pacha is the worst hotel I stayed in my life. From A to Z every single thing and service is a desaster. The room was not at all clean and the stuff, very very unfriendly and insulting. The food in their restaurant is desastrous and so is every thing. I stayed their for a business trip and I swear, that I will rather sleep on a bench in Tunisia than in this Hotel.

Room Tip: Tipp: Never book this hotel and this will be the first correct thing you can do, if you go Tunis.
