We were not expecting a great deal but I must admit the staff were so helpful with advice and seemed to care how we felt. An example was I asked about postage stamps and I was taken to the kiosk to buy stamps . The reception staff were delightful
We ate in a couple of nights and I must say the fish was delicious and my husband enjoyed his steak .he did say the sauces were a little thick and did not pour well
The room was comfortable and very clean and the bathroom more than acceptable ( some comments earlier got me worried)
All in all I would recommend this hotel as a good place to stay in Tunis as it is very central

after having servived the aggressive and insulting rather than inviting merchants of the medina my wife was robbed of her - modest- neckless with noone of the bystanders reacting, nor by saying that they were sorry, nor by offering any help. we decided to leave tunis immediately instead of staying another night, as foreseen. of course the hotel was not obliged to offer the lunch we took before leaving or to reimburse the 2nd night we had paid in advance, but one of the two would have been a greater gesture than downplaying the incident

The location of the hotel was great!! We got to see all the major tourist destinations and relax. The hotel overall was not that bad, the rooms however felt out dated and were a little dirty. The staff were friendly!

I stayed for 3 night in this hotel to have quite and pleasant time reading a review from trip advice however i find it very noise with car movement an horn throughout the night very hard to sleep, and normal hotel which deserve two and half star maximum.the breakfast is the most basic with no choice the only thing is staff are friendly in my opinion my worst experience i ever had we went to have a spa next door and we ended in the most dirty spa i never seen, but the people are nice

Tunisia Palace is ideally placed close to the Tunis Medina and in the heart of the city. The rooms are comfortable, clean with friendly staff. Food is better than most 4 star hotels. The price is higher, but vlaue is high too

The hotel has small, but nice rooms. in some rooms we have noticed that the shower force you to be a weird position. better to check it before taking the room.

the staff is cordial and the coffee very good. The food is excellent, and the celia beer a nice surprise.

they have an hammam, which was closed because it is still summer, and do not have a gym. may be a problem, but the hotel is few hundreds meters from the medina, and i enjoyed a morning run in the small roads of the medina.
