It is an interesting place. The service is not exactly the best but you do enjoy some of the things. Just had a mishap when I was in a floor which was having it's restrooms cleaned and the next closest was one floor up or down.

Room Tip: The western side has a nice city view. Overlooking the nice looking buildings like you Joina City Ma...

I was at the holiday inn for business. The hotel was ok. The room was sufficient, but could have been cleaner. The room was organized strangely with an odd extra table. The food was dismal. The wifi works. I would try not to stay there again.

I really have a big conflict how many stars I should put for this hotel.
According to European perspective, this hotel should get 4 stars from me. However, since its Africa the Hotel is 5 stars with no doubt.
I would like to be the “bad” person and give them 4 stars so they will continue to improve as there are many small things that should be approved.
Don’t get me wrong. This hotel is GREAT!!! The best I experienced in Zimbabwe so far.
Lets start from the service of staff – warm, friendly, welcoming and they really want to make your stay great!
The hotel decoration is modern and it looks like they are in a middle of upgrade. The next phase it to change the TV in the rooms to LCD and additional small issue (as per the hotel staff).
Dining room is great. Breakfast can keep you “fuelled” for the whole day.
Sleeping quality – great (with the exception of the pillow)
The Silver Spur restaurant is also located in the hotel facility (but its independence).
Location is good (for me it was excellent). The Inn fast food and Nandos restaurant are 2 minutes walking from the hotel.

From my perspective, I think that the pillow in the hotel should be replaced.
Room maintenance is 90%
I didn’t get the idea to have Iron in the room if you can not use it (no ironing board and no place to plug the power and use it…).
Also, the recharging the room should be improved.

After all – I found this place almost like home and I will come to visit this place again (and again).

I highly recommend!!!

Room Tip: As high as possible :-)

What a difference from bad experience in October. Staff knew what they were doing, Internet had improved, elevators were working, all equipment in room worked great. It's come a long way in a short time. Now, if they could just do something about that $26.00 breakfast.

Room Tip: Back of hotel for quiet

This Holiday Inn was clean, and had great staff. The food options in the hotel were ok, but the hotel is close to many other options. The beds were a treat to a weary traveler. Cable TV and free WiFi. The business center also provided fast enough computers for a decent price.

Close to the Book Cafe, Nandos and PathFinder bus terminal.

Stayed there for only two nights but not much to complain about at all. Friendly staff, wonderful breakfast and beds to die for. We had such a good nights sleep in the Queen size bed. Just a few things to improve on, Wifi was mediocre as we couldn't get a good connection from our room on the 4th floor. There was also a bit of construction work going on at the time which we could hear early in the morning and it would have been nice if reception had told us about it when we checked in. However it was not so loud. Overall, good stay, we will return!

Room Tip: Ask for a queens size bed! So comfy!
