Touch once a Lion baby, a unforgetable experience, good game viewing drive, impressive to see the cheetas next to your car. Still coming back whenever in Harare.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised at what this place offered. Lots of lions and two white lions and a few other animals eg ostrich impala, wildebeest, and guinea fowl . Though the name of the park implies that there are cheetahs ..... There are no cheetahs :-(

I struggled whether to rate this a 4. On the one hand, you are blessed to see all the lions (including) the white lions and the mini game drive gives you everything from zebra, eland, ostrich, kudu, giraffes etc to the lovely vista views at the mountain top drive. In the caged area, the tortoise are still there, the crocs and hyenas are still there but...there are bits missing such as the big wild boar, the civet cat etc. I understand the place has been through a bit and I commend the returned owner for resuscitating it but when you recall the former glory of the place, you are left wanting just a little bit more. I think they are trying to rebrand it to lion park since there are no longer any cheetahs but not sure.

That said, it's still a great afternoon out for the price ($7 adults,$5 kids). It was great seeing the kids expressions as they saw the animals!!! The shop onsite does need a bit of sprucing up though.
