Really pleasant hotel with incredibly friendly, pleasant and helpful staff. Very comfortable rooms. Good wi-fi. Ensure you have air con as it is very hot here. The river cruise is a must. Meals are a good buffet - nothing elaborate but good quality food. Room service is good and food quality was excellent

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing on to the pool

An excellent accomodation, large rooms equipped with all appliances of the 21st century including high speed wifi, very friendly and helpful staff and a great view.
I stayed there only 2 days, but I would not have minded a much longer time.
A little bit far off from the town centre, but they have a free shuttle bus leaving every 2 hours.

Upon arrival, greeted by friendly & professional staff. Rooms and hotel grounds are well maintained, great location by the river. Complementary shuttle bus between hotel, town & falls. Enjoyed seeing the animals that come daily to visit the property.

My husband and I stayed here one night during our South Africa Tour. We flew into Victoria Falls one day and out the next day. Although it was a short visit, it was jam packed with adventure and fun, and this hotel was just the icing on the cake. We had a nice room overlooking the gardens. It wasn't very large, but there was enough room for two. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The hotel grounds are very well kept. We didn't see any monkeys, but there were wart hogs running around. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. On the morning that we were leaving, my husband lost his wedding band. He knew it was somewhere in the room, but we could not find it. One of the staff came and moved the beds for us, and sure enough it had rolled under the bed. We were so grateful. Everyone that we encountered was just as helpful and friendly. Even though this is a touristy area, I hope the local people never lose their charm and attitude toward service.

Finally, we didn't have dinner at the hotel because we did a dinner cruise on the river (I wouldn't recommend a dinner cruise because the food was pretty bad, and the cruise was way too long- but the views were spectacular). However, we did have breakfast at the hotel. It was just okay. The hotel is not in the center city/ village, so you need a taxi to get to the falls. But taxis are dirt cheap and have negotiable fares. I think we paid $25 to be picked up at the hotel and chauffered around all morning and then driven to the airport. We would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is a 5 minute drive outside Victoria Falls but well worth it. It is situated right on the Zambezi river. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable. The staff were great at arranging our tour of the falls, our safari in Botswana, and our Chobe River Cruise. Their is no need to go anywhere else for dinner because the hotel restaurant has amazing food, great entertainment, and a view of the river while you dine. Breakfast was also great with all sorts of hot and cold selections. No complaints here!

Room Tip: Choose a room with a view of the river!

The position on the bank of the Zambezi is really great: scenic river views, pretty gardens, wildlife roaming freely in the grounds. The lawns are kept immaculately mown by warthogs, vervet monkeys scrambled up the thatch and a large group of banded mongoose raced around the trees while a male waterbuck strollled past the pool. The rooms were well equipped and comfortable, with good viewing balconies or patios. Unfortunately the quality of service and the standard of the meals did not match the surroundings. Although the staff were very friendly, many of them were slow, inattentive and unprofessional - just not the standard one expects at a 4-star establishment. Meal prices were as per US ($8 up for starters; $15 dollars up for mains) and were not at all worth it - dry, lacking in flavour and poorly presented. The shuttle service to town sounds great but is actually the staff transport bus and should be advertised as such. Overall the food and service quality spoiled what would have been a great place to stay.

Room Tip: There are only two floors, but no lift so don't take an upstairs room if you can't manage st...
