My husband and I stayed at the Vic Falls Safari Club on Valentine's night and what a way to spend Valentines. To be honest I cannot think of a better way to spend any day never mind Valentines! The staff were not only helpful and polite but efficient and courteous. The rooms were absolutely spectacular and during the late afternoon cocktails and snacks, we were fortunate enough to see a pack of Wild Dogs. We would stay there again today, tomorrow...if we could.

I loved my time at the club!
It was my first time in Zimbabwe and I couldn't have stayed at a better place. The staff are the stars of the show at the Vic falls
Safari club. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. I love it when hotel staff are truly interested in how you are and how tour day went.
The suites themselves are nice and spacious, and it's clear that a lot of thought has gone into their layout. The bathtubs are fantastic and you can never go past a shower like that. Although I did find the shower tiles a bit slippery when wet.
The breakfasts were great and selection was quite varied.
I liked the view of the birds and warthogs from my balcony in a really calm and pleasant atmosphere.
Everyone that stays there has to go to the Boma for dinner. It's a lot of fun and you get your teeth into some tasty local wildlife.
The only problem is that now I'm going to have to wait until I can get back there again :)

Our family stayed in the Vic fall Safari Club and was very impressed with the rooms and service. The rooms were very big and comfortable and the lounge facilities/ breakfast area very comfortable. The shuttle into town was very convenient as it is a bit out of town. The Boma (BBQ, drumming, dancing etc) was interesting, though we are not really into the interactive participation, but everyone else seems to love it. The restaurant in the Safari Lodge part has only OK food and service and the food and drink prices are a bit higher than similar places...but it is very convenient as it avoids the trip into town, and is plenty good enough after a big day out.

Room Tip: From our brief look at the rooms, the Safari Club rooms are much newer and far superior to the Safar...

My husband and I recently returned to the Victoria Falls for a 3 night stay and chose to stay at the Victoria Falls Safari Club. We booked a Suite and were not at all disappointed by the room or service, which was in every way, faultless. The Suite was very spacious, beautifully and tastefully furnished and kept spotlessly clean at all times; with the bathroom being equally luxurious with lovely, state of the art fittings. We found the staff complement to be courteous and helpful. Breakfast was an equally luxurious affair - with a superb selection of pastries/fruit/cereals and obviously, the cooked meals to select from - everything was beautifully presented and prepared always exactly to order.

However, we do have one criticism of the Saf Club - none of the Suite rooms have a waterhole view; the website marketing promises "overlooking private waterhole" and in fact only some of the rooms have a waterhole view of the waterhole situated directly in front of sister lodge - Vic Falls Saf Lodge; the views from Vic Falls Saf Club are not very good at all. Additionally, we were disappointed to have to share swimming pool with Vic Falls Saf Lodge residents or The Boma. In our minds, a lodge which aims for "exclusivity" needs to address these issues. Otherwise, a wonderful stay.

Room Tip: Non-Suite rooms have the better view!

Not quite knowing what to expect , this place, and it's staff , far exceeded anything we would have thought it to be.
The grounds are manicured, and the accommodations were out of a movie set. Our suite overlooked a watering hole, where we watched animals come for drinking. The vulture feeding at 1:00 brought every bird for miles around.
The staff knew our names from the beginning, and the tea time, happy hour, and breakfast would be the envy of any resort.
If we ever have the opportunity to return, we will certainly spend our time with these wonderful, caring people.

Room Tip: All rooms face the watering hole.

This was our first visit in Africa and we had no great expectations. Upon our arrival at the VF Safari Club we were greeted by Hugh and were immediately impressed with his 5 star professionalism and hospitality. He inquired about our dinner plans for our stay and he made the reservations. The entire staff at VF Safari Club deserve many praise, I have never encountered so many people with smiles and the willingness to please. It was a pleasure to be a guest at the Club. And I must not forget the breakfast. The best mushroom omelette EVER!
I would not hesitate to stay at the VFS Club again or insist that friends and family stay here.
The property is all that it claims and more. Writing this review almost seems as pointless as telling a Super Model she is beautiful.

Room Tip: Top floor, far left from reception. Good view of small watering hole.
