If you go during the high water season (April to June), then you won't see much because there will be so much mist and you will get soaked (rent a poncho from the vendors outside). Conversely during the dry season you won't get the magnificent power of the water (November onward).
If you've seen Niagara Falls and Iguazu Falls, then you may be disappointed. But it's still in a lovely, natural setting. The view is mostly on the Zimbabwe side.
The restaurant inside is quite good!
