“Absolutely beautiful”
Reviewed 9 August 2014

The force of the falls are amazing. be sure to take the helicopter ride to get the full impression of how huge these falls are. Wear a raincoat and put your camera in a waterproof bag to protect you and it from the spray.

“Overwhelming......and wet”
Reviewed 9 August 2014

You WILL get wet if you walk far enough into the falls area. If you don't want to get wet then definitely rent a raincoat. The falls are quite beautiful at this time of year but I am told during high season the mist is so powerful that you can't even see the falls. Be sure to check out the falls from both the Zimbabwe and Zambia side, the view is quite different. Maybe try a little zip lining or bungee jumping if you are a risk taker

“Wonderful Experience”
Reviewed 9 August 2014

From what we understand, the best time to visit Victoria Falls is during Africa's winter months, when the falls are at their highest. Fortunately, that's when we were there (mid July) and the amount of water is unbelievable. Absolutely breathtaking! You WILL get wet if you walk the entire length of the falls, but if you have a raincoat, it's no big deal. Wearing supportive water shoes/sandals or sneakers that you don't mind getting wet, is helpful.

“Should be on everyone's bucket list”
Reviewed 9 August 2014

To view the falls is a humbling experience. It became clear to me that I am just a very small bit in a very big world. To watch the water cascading down with such force and a deafening thunder is awe inspiring.
Go in summer when it is hot because you will appreciate going through the rain forest and getting soaked.
The only thing is the price to get in. Depending on where you come from the cost vary quite a bit. $30 for foreign passport holders, $20 for SADC passport holders and $7 for Zimbabwean/Zambian residents.
