“Fun night!”

We had a great time at Boma! I would definitely recommend it, for kids and adults alike. Some might think it's overpriced, but it's a great opportunity to try a wide variety of local cuisine. Entertainment/music was great. It's a little annoying that local people come interrupt you during your meal (get your hair braided, face painted, etc.) but at least they're not pushy about it.

“A pleasant evening's meal and entertainment”
Reviewed 18 May 2014

This very touristy place provided us with an enjoyable evening activity. We tasted unusual foods such as worms (certificate provided to those who dare) and impala stew (chewy) as well as the standard pork, but their wart hog surpassed everything!!! The local "medicine man" provided his own mix of after-dinner cocktails for those with the nerve.

An hour or so of interactive entertainment on drums (also provided to guests) and dance extended the evening until about 9:30 pm or so. We left when the dance floor opened.

If you are travelling as a couple, make sure you book a table for two towards the middle of the Boma, near the entertainment, as the remainder of the Boma is full of large tables of tour groups.

“Fun Dinner Show Great Show”
Reviewed 17 May 2014

This place is very touristy, however, it was fun and energy packed. dinner is set up as a buffet and there is plenty of food to choose from. the evening we were there, the place was packed. I believe it cost us $40.00/person.

They do a great job with their show that involves a lot of dancing and drums. In fact, you have the opportunity to beat the drums. we also had face painting of wild animals on our face. (it removes easily with no staining).

If you are looking for a fun show with lots of food then this is for you.

“Touristy but a definite fun evening”
Reviewed 16 May 2014

Food was very good and the entertainment really gives you a feel for local culture. Being a "tourist" destination, you know it's geared towards that but the evening really is loads of fun and the food is varied and very good
