Great atmosphere and food for Luanda, but very expensive (as all things are in Luanda). I had the Goroupa (sp?) fish and it was excellent. They make a good dry martini as well.

Thank Dean D

I went there for a diner.. I was with a friend.. The cocktails are good specially the maracuja caipirinha.. The atmosphere is nice.. However food was terrible.. We had some chinese inspiration food.. Not good at all.. In addition to this price is really high specially compared to the taste of the food.. I would better go there only for drink as the place is really nice..!

To be fair, most of the prices are actually near or on-par with Luanda prices. Beef prices are a bit of a shock (USD 60-100 for steak or 40-70 for a fancy burger) as is the booze. However sushi, other fish, and veg items are closer to Terra Luanda (USD 25-35 for many plates, up to 55 for a few). And, your medium-rare steak may end up on someone else's plate. However, should there be an error, it will be resolved without the often-encountered Luanda surliness and your meal will be delicious and well-presented by one of the better staffs I have dealt with in Luanda, so far.

Getting here from any of the hotels or most major businesses during rush hour is a nightmare, but, if you can hold out until 7:30 you'll have better luck, as you can get here faster and you may still be able to slide in without a reservation. If you can afford it or expense it, this really is a good choice, especially if you are going to be here for a bit.

Oon Dah is a surprise from the beginning. Once you enter the Escom building you enter another reality and in the same building there is a very posh bar and a more relaxed pub. Recommended if you want to dream of being in New York for one night,
