This is the best boutique hotel in Libreville. Stylish & chic - I've never seen such attention to detail with respect to furnishings and decoration. The staff are very accommodating and very well trained on how to serve. They anticipate your needs. The hotel is very expensive, as are all the good options in Libreville, but this will change as more high quality hotels come open in the coming months & years.
The restaurant is small but prepares delicious French and local dishes. Definitely gourmet and definitely expensive (my appetizer, main course and can of Diet Coke came to US$76).
There's a beautiful swimming pool in the courtyard and some very comfortable lounge chairs to relax in. The property overlooks the estuary/sea, but I wouldn't call this beach front ... the beach & water are not for swimming in this part of town - too dirty.
The rooms are beautiful, but curiously, the bathrooms in the "Baignoire" category are tight. I actually liked the less-expensive Standard room better (I stayed in both).
Internet is s-l-o-w but free. The hotel offers airport pickup/dropoff but at $60, use a taxi instead ($8 max).
Very happy to have stayed here, but my wallet is much lighter after departure.
