Rooms desperately need renovation. Old and stained porcelain and I hadn't seen a TV with a butt in a hotel since lord knows when but what do you know, this hotel j's till has them.

Hate to be hash because some of the staff were just amazingly sweet but by and large major training is necessary. Check in was a nightmare!!! Very manual and slow and yet they have like 5 staff behind the desk!

There is never anyone at any of the service lines! Ever! Best to call operator who will likely pick up after 6 or 7 rings to then try and connect you to housekeeping or rooms revive whatever only for you to be told -- no one is answering:)

The worst and this is something they need to seriously look into or the business clientele will run off but FIX YOUR WIFI!!!! It's ridiculous!!! Slow as molasses, intermittent, incredibly annoying. And already the hotel is not particularly conveniently located (save for debris filled beach lovers) so if you want to get business folks, fix the wifi!

Please accept my sincere apologies for your unpleasant experiences while staying with us. At present we have shut down those rooms you stayed in as part of an ongoing refurbishment. We are also working to better the complimentary WIFI services we provide and hope that if you return to Accra, you will come and visit to see the new things we are doing at our hotel.

Sincerely.

What a warm and welcoming reception! Staff at this conveniently located hotel couldn't do any more to welcome you when you first walk in.

The hotel is luxurious and has a glamourous feel to it. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Food is also top notch.

The staff certainly do their best to ensure you enjoy your stay

Stayed at La Palm for a conference......the hotel situation is great, right on the beach with a bar/restaurant benefitting from the sea breeze (eesnetial when it gets too hot), the bar guys could do with a bit of charisma but, for the most part, the personal service was fine. Rooms and facilities do need a re-vamp, soon, otherwise it all go a bit seedy. Pleasant enough though.

I stayed here for 4 nights on business and enjoyed the experience.

Hotel is very well appointed, superb gardens and a range of eating and drinking options, all of which were great. The pool was excellent also. The most impressive feature was their actual organisation of events - there were a number running simultaneously but all seemed to be extremely well sorted.

The only minor negative was that the room, although large and well equipped, was a bit frayed - rust around the door frame, a few floor tiles cracked. But the bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and completely insect free!

Free wireless internet was available throughout the complex although the signal was erratic at times.

This hotel will slowly fall into parts, like the letters on the wall mentioning the name of the hotel. First room with no internet, next room without a safe and poor internet speed, third room ok and clean. Prepare yourselves for struggling with the people at the reception, making excuses, that you end up feeling your are wrong yourself. After 18 hours traveling, you do not want to wait hours for internet repair, which the proposed. Food in the restaurants, tried 2 of them, middle level quality.
They do not have change money, and give you back keeping the tips without telling you. In the room you are welcomed with 1 x 0,5 liter bottle of water. Next day you have to buy your own water as the management decided to reduce this service to first day only. Price, quality is way-out fair for the guest. Internet speed told to be high speed / max. speed reached 1.5 mb.
