“Interesting piece of History”
Reviewed 24 March 2014

I studied the W.E.B. Dubois in my African-American History course in college so I was pretty excited to go view his center. However the Center is a bit run down, it's disappointing. It does have key articles/items for his life which is interesting to view, and shows how he transitioned to life in Ghana. He is also buried on the grounds. The center could and should be more interactive as well as more reflective of his writings and ideologies.

“Why not go”
Reviewed 7 February 2014

I enjoyed learning more about WEB Dubois. The center needs some help with funding, but more importantly it was the home of WEB Dubois. It is a must to visit the place knowledge lived.

“Dummin' at the W.E.B Dubois Center in Accra”
Reviewed 29 December 2013

I went to a drumming class at the W.E.B Dubois center. It was on a Sunday, however, and the exhibits were closed. I am so glad that there is a place set aside as a tribute to such a great scholar and humanitarian.

“Please, Air conditioning Needed!”
Reviewed 10 October 2013

What a great American! Great history; great artifacts, great story, great volumes of books! But, without air conditioning, these artifacts are going to deteriorate quickly, and already show significant signs of wear. I hope the government, or some foundation or philanthropist or altruist takes note.
