I spent only two nights in Maseru - and I had dinner at Piri Pire both days. Simply had to come back! The restaurant served some of the best grilled calamari I've tasted anywhere in the world - and the prawn was equally delicious. Service was great. Highly recommended

I didn't expect to get such good seafood in a landlocked country. The flavors and variety of foods were excellent. Great break from the other options in Maseru and a delightful meal for any foodie.

With not too many options for eating out at Maseru, Piri Piri turned out to be a surprise pick - the food is excellent and the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. You can't go wrong with Piri Piri, except if you happen to be vegetarian, in which case there is only one option on the menu - the veggie pizza. You don't normally go to a Portuguese Restaurant if you are veggie, but considering the serious lack of dining options at Maseru, some consideration for veggie guests should be shown especially when the food is so good.

There are only a few restaurants that stand out in the rather dull scene in Maseru, which is the Regal and the Piri-Piri. The Piri-Piri is a good pick in Summer evenings, especially with its nice terrace. There are some signature dishes that are really worth talking about, like the Chorizo and the seafood - Even thought the prawns have been a bit bigger when the restaurant opened. The daily specials as the rabbit or the tongue are marvelous. Service is attentive but not annoying. However, at lunch one needs to wait a little too long for the food.
