We slept over at the lodge for one night because of its proximity to the airport.
The 23 km from the main road is very, very bad. It took us more than 75 min travelling to the lodge.
Arriving at the lodge there was a lot of staff hanging around without purpose.
We had large suitcases because we were travelling for 14 days. To get to the rooms, we had to carry our luggage through the restaurant .....without a trolley. We could not pull the suitcases because of the uneven surface of the access path???? Get a trolley!!
The accomodation was interesting. Clean and comfortable but very "bling" for a bush experience. We think / hope the owners did not have a say in the design ....probably interior designers etc.
Dinner was great and we must compliment the lodge on the quality of the food....but the service .....the waitresses were standing behind the bar counter taking "selfies". They were not even trying to look interested in serving the guests. The place needs a leader. No management at all.
During dinner our quiet bush experience was spoiled by a contractor pouring a cement slab at a house being built in the view of the lodge until after 20h30. Nice!
Will we return to N/a'an ku se? I don't think so.More
