The taxi from Windhoek airport - a long way from the city - turned right as it approached the built-up area and drove up into an attractive, prosperous suburb. We stopped at a gate and entered a small courtyard. We were met by a charming young lady and taken up the steps of what looked like a small modern block. Turning right along an outside corridor we were shown into a room off it. We were delighted to find that it was a large, bright suite with elegant modern furniture and fittings. Going dowm and past the little office we came to the breakfast room which opened into the courtyard. Again, this was spacious and elegant. Walking past this and round the corner we came to a little garden and past this a door into another building. We were astonished on entering this to find a large lounge area around a lovely pool. Beyond this was another lounge area, with an " honesty bar", stocked with refrigerators of wine etc.
Notwithstanding this luxurious ambience we found that it really was a small, boutique hotel/ B&B, with a small, but very attentive staff. Breakfast was ample, and tended to be very social , with guests, many of whom were regulars, chatting from table to table. The hotel does not offer other meals of it's own, but were happy to order and serve take-away meals in the pool/bar area. Again, such meals seemed to become social occasions.
All in all a lovely little place with happy atmosphere and great value for money.

Room Tip: On the balcony corridor.

Our hotel of choice when in Windhoek - which is fairly frequently - it's not a hotel in the normal interpretation of that but more a small, exclusive boutique guest house. Very comfortable rooms, WiFi that works, DSTV, nice garden, good breakfast - good value. We recommend it to anyone needing accommodation in Windhoek.

This is an exquisite gen of a boutique hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are not only spotlessly clean, they are well-appointed and very comfortable.

The breakfast is up there with the best. If you are there on a Friday and you hail from South Africa, you must savour the freshly prepared 'vetkoek". If you are not from South Africa, the "vetkoek" is similar to a doughnut but without the hole in the middle. The best way to enjoy the "vetkoek" (fat cake) is to butter it well and fill it with tasty jam.

Breakfast is served alfresco style on the lower garden level which is shaded by magnificent trees. Remember, Windhoek, Namibia is warm virtually throughout the year.

The luxury rooms are so spacious, beautifully furnished and more than a home from home.

The hotel is located in one of the prestigious suburbs of Windhoek, the capital of Namibia. It is quiet.

Relax after a day working or exploring the city and the surrounding area at the spotless pool. The patio area is well appointed with a refrigerator for guest's use and comfortable alfresco dining.

Writing this review has been one of the most pleasurable reviews that I have ever done.

Room Tip: Book well in advance. This is a very sought after accommodation venue.

The hotel is not in the city center, but in a quiet residential neighborhood. However, Windhoek is not very big, so a taxi to/from the hotel is not very expensive and it does not take much time. Also, the hotel is not difficult to find if driving a rental car, the area is depicted in the local tourist maps of Windhoek, and there is secure parking inside the hotel.

The rooms are comfortable and cozy, with lots of light. The hotel is beautiful, with gardens, a pool, small mini-golf, etc. Breakfast is included and is good, and although there is no restaurant food can be ordered for delivery (the hotel has a lot of menus from restaurants all around town).

The hotel seems to be almost family-run, and all the staff is very friendly, one almost has the impression of being a guest at a friend's house.

All in all, a great hotel both for a brief stopover in Windhoek, or for a longer, quiet holiday in town.

We stayed at the Hotel twice: the first time when we arrived in Namibia and the second time just before we departed back home shortly before Christmas. And both times we had a great time and staff was really friendly!
The room itself is very luxurious with comfortable beds and we even had a little terrace to sit on in the evenings. When we arrived in the early morning our room was not ready yet, but they worked on it with highest priority so that we could have a shower after the flight. The time in between we spent in the coffee area next to the pool, where you get complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits.
The breakfast the next morning left nothing to be desired! We were served fresh fruits, cereals, toast, eggs etc. All (or more) than you need.
The second time we came was shortly before Christmas and we were the only guests for breakfast the next morning. So they even made pancakes with blueberries for us….yummi!
The staff is also very helpful when you need any advice on where to eat and what to do in Windhoek area and they also helped us to do the reservations in the SPA and in restaurants.

All in all: this is a great place to stay - don't miss it!

Room Tip: Try to get the ones above receptions to be near to breakfast area, the garage and have a terrace.

The bedrooms are beautifully appointed as are the common areas. Relax by one of the two pools and take a drink from the fridge - just make sure to add it to your bill when you leave, there is an honour system at work. Had a great facial and manicure for NAD 400 at the Spa (just ask and they will arrange). My friend was booked in room 4 which was too close to the car park so she moved for more privacy. I was in room 6 which was on the second floor, had a terrace and felt more private. The only drawback - the white door which attracted some bugs at night, which made their way under the door and into my room until I figured out what was up and sealed up the door with a towel. The hotel is very peaceful and quiet and a perfect place to re-charge after heading into or out of the city for a safari. There is no service for lunch or dinner so you need to head out to a restaurant or order in (not advised as the takeout food was mediocre!). All in all a dream!

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the second floor from more privacy.
