We stayed at Galton House on our first and fourteenth nights in Namibia. As others have noted, the staff is welcoming and eager to be of service. As it turned out, we were put in the same room, Number 3, both times so it did feel like home when we came back from twelve nights on safari. Home-baked bread was delicious, meals were fully adequate as was our room with a walk-in shower. We had been told that the water in Namibia was safe everywhere so it was disappointing to find that we needed to use bottled water at Galton House. But, chilled bottles of water were readily available in the accessible refrigerator so there was no difficulty. We were part of a small group so arranging for transportation was not an issue. Nice to have free WiFi as part of the stay.
