We stayed 2 nights - one in a standard hotel room, then were moved to an apartment. The hotel room was nicer by far! Updated and upgraded bed, decor, amenities. Very pleasant. The apartment was large, but furniture, and especially the beds could be replaced, and the decor wasn't really what could be called "decor". There was free wifi in both places: not very fast, but available. The hotel was secure - a guard gate at entry. I would put the overall property at a 3 star, the hotel room at 3+ and apartment at 2. The other Protea property in Abuja is nicer, and Hilton better by far. I recommend it, because it's not a "bad" place to stay, just not best.
