I have had the pleasure of patronizing this restaurant on several occasions alone and with guests. The Abuja outlet is located 5 minutes away from the central business district with good parking facilities.
The meal is very good and the service is timely and courteous. The environment is neat with a boisterous clientele during peak lunchtime however there is an upper VIP area for those who prefer quite. The African dishes are particularly nice with a wide variety to choose from.
The Port harcourt outlet is less conducive.

From their Port Harcourt Origins and now to various cities in Nigeria, they've maintained their standards. Meals here are delicious (often they serve very large portions) although they need to work on hygiene or the perception one would have of the hygiene in the restaurant. That said, I'll walk into any of their restaurants whenever I feel like a large serving of Native Soup with Goat meat. Take-out could be convenient if you don't want to sit in.

Lol, this restaurant serves excess amount of food... whether its rice or even garri/pounded-yam/amala ..the food is always a lot...that's not necessarily a bad thing as you can takeaway. The staff are all male and quite respectful.. the environment is just ok... The coconut rice is always nice and thier efo_riro which is served only on wednesdays... they offer value for money...

It was good food but very limited variety. We were there on a Friday night and we could only choose different meals by different types of rice (fried, with vegetables, white etc) with either ox tail or chicken... It is cheap.. it is Nigerian.. But the lack of choices turned us off... Good for experience or budget travelers. Atmosphere similar to a canteen..

Anyway my recommendation is; nothing for the one that want something outside of the bulk Nigerian cooking.

Excellent traditional Nigerian menu in a nice and clean environment. The service is very good with little waiting time. They also serve intercontinental dishes, however I believe their speciality is the traditional Nigerian dishes. If you want to have a real taste of Southern Nigerian dishes then Jevinik is the place to visit.
