Nice hotel but to far away from downtown. The restaurant is quite nice.
Staff is very friendly.
A little bit expensive but considering that in reunion island, everything is expensive, I guess it's normal.

This hotel is located outside the city center of Saint-Denis. It’s difficult to get there without a car – even though on a map it doesn’t look so terribly far from the city center, the road leading to the hotel is long, steep and winding. The room I stayed in was large and had a view on the garden (I was staying in the basement -3 level). I guess views from the higher floors must be more beautiful (as is the view from the parking lot for instance). The bathroom wasn’t spotless – the bath/shower looked quite dirty and it took ages before warm water came out of the tap. Although the room itself was quiet, I hardly slept a wink because of a bad mattress. My back was aching when I got up in the morning. There was a large choice of cheese, delicatessen, spreads in the breakfast buffet… however, they forgot the bread! Only some croissants and other sweet pastries available. At night I also tried out the restaurant for dinner. It was quite pricey but the food was good and dishes were nicely decorated. The wifi in the hotel was not working – perhaps the connection in the basement wasn’t good (and it should work on other floors?) but then I couldn’t connect in the restaurant area either. I didn’t use the swimming pool because of lack of time. Overall, the staff was friendly but the hotel itself was very mediocre for four stars.

We stayed at this hotel for one night, which was also our last night in Reunion, after a terrific 3 week holiday. We were two adults and two small children, and we had two connecting executive rooms.

The staff at check-in spoke English, and came out to our car to take our bags up to our rooms, which were on the top floor of the hotel. The rooms were lovely & big, with plenty of room for all of us. They also had a small balcony that looked out over the pool, Saint-Denis and the ocean (in the distance). It was a terrific view at the end of the day, and in the morning.

Our rooms were in very good condition and perfectly clean. There was cable tv, bar fridge, bath robes and free wi-fi in the rooms. Strangely there was no iron though.

We weren't able to eat dinner in the restaurant as it was closed for a function on the night we were there, but it also had terrific views out over the city, as does the pool. A buffet breakfast was served in the restaurant - breakfast was ok, but not memorable.

We found the staff here very helpful and friendly, and it was good value considering the rates we got for the rooms. The hotel is a much higher standard than the Best Western in Saint-Denis, and I wish we had stayed at the Bellepierre for both nights we were in Saint-Denis.

The hotel is in Bellepierre, which is on the hill overlooking Saint-Denis - ie its not in central Saint-Denis. If you have a car though, its only a short drive down the hill to Saint Denis, and we had no trouble finding the hotel. Other than the Palm Hotel, this was one of the best hotel rooms we stayed in during our 3 weeks in Reunion.

Room Tip: The rooms on the top floor have a terrific view out over Saint-Denis

Just a short trip to Reunion of three days but this hotel was a great place to stay with the view across the town of St Denis to the sea with the mountains to the side. After dawn the planes can be seen approaching the airstrip and helicopters land on the hospital but far away so as not to intrude. Breakfast can be taken outside on the deck as can cocktails during the day, right next to the clear blue pool for those who desire to cool down with a swim. The food was good and varied, hotel staff were helpful. Don't miss the helicopter ride while you are there and we also had a day touring the island, which to us, looked like a little piece of France. Wifi was available in our room.

I have spent a couple of days at this hotel in April for Business purpose and was a little bit disappointed. rooms are not worth 4*. A King bed is 2 single beds put together. There was a smoker in the room nearby, so I had smoke in my room. Plastic glasses in bathroom. Standard room level -3 just okay. Buffet breakfast was disappointing. Restaurant dinner was great however. Warm welcome at frontdesk. Please note there is no public transportation: just taxis or car rental at airport, both expensive.

Room Tip: Ocean view rooms and suites are nice, but much more expensive

This is clean, comfortable, modern hotel and a good place to recuperate after the long flight from Sydney. The view from our window was lovely and even better from the deck where you can sip a cocktail in the evening have have breakfast in the morning.
Friendly and helpful staff. would stay there again in similar circumstances.

My stay at the hotel was mainly just for sleep and relax because i had much more to do there(yes much to do in reunion lol) The hotel is found uphill and the view is simply awesome! However one thing to point out is that the wifi is very very poor! The hotel offer free internet in the rooms and unfortunately the wifi is not there! I was there twice in a year and the problem is still the same!i was obliged to sit on a couch in the lobby to have internet access to work! Complaining at the desk was of no help!well
