This is a new hotel and it shows when you walk in. Its not as big as the 5 star hotel in town but it seems very well done. Unfortunately I only went to the restaurant and do not know how the rooms and the rest of the hotel look. The restaurant is decorated tastefully although I have to say that despite the seats being very comfy, they are too low to sit in and uncomfortable to eat from. The food though is in a word 'awesome'. It's nothing fancy just extremely well made home cooking style. The food was served buffet style and included chicken, rice, plantain, vegetable soup, creamed spinach and more. I have to say that that is the first buffet that everything was worth having a second helping and I mean everything including the soup. I had to stop myself from being greedy and putting too much knowing I would not be able to finish it. I am not really a sweet tooth so did not have dessert but those who had it enjoyed it although most people were already stuffed from the food. Their cocktails were not really anything worth writing home about (I love vodka cocktails so know a good one) although I am yet to find a place in Kigali that has decent cocktails. I would definitely go to this hotel for a meal again and again.
