Amazing kayaking trip! Our guide was very good with kids, explaining nicely and with great patience. We learned a lot and had good laughs. The crew is chill and professional.

I travelled with wonderful Claude, my driver/guide for a week on a bespoke trip organised by Ninah. I spent time around the Twin lakes, walking and paddling. Floated down the River Mukungwa, visited a tea estate, coffee washing station and met merino sheep below the Virungas.
The highlight was astay at the Gishwati forest. a new National park,at the Forest Of Hope Guest House. A trulywonderful experience.Exhausting trecking for a pensioner, not surprising considering the geography, but it is home to a few chimpanzees and golden monkeys. There is no guarantee to see either as they are not habituated yet,but thanks to Thierry and trackers, I saw both. The guest house is just 2 immaculate rooms ,stunning views and excellent meals provided. The proceeds of every visit contributes to the conservation and support for surrounding communities. Eco tourism at its best. a magical experience.

We did the half day biking tour in Kigali, Rwanda. It was an incredible tour. We learned so much about the people, culture, and neighborhoods. Leandre was an amazing guide and super knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for an adventure and a real sense of the city. 5/5!

Kingfisher Journeys was incredible from start to finish. You will not be disappointed! Ninah was responsive and helpful planning our tour. Our tour guide Cyprien was the best! Helpful, attentive and very knowledgeable. Truly a wonderful experience from start to finish.

We booked a 3 day trip with them. Went from Kigali to Lake Kivu for one night. We did a sunset boat ride and hike up Napoleon Island. Then a kayaking trip in the morning with Pax, who was passionate and engaging.

We then drove to Nyungwe National Park for a colobus monkey trek and canopy walkway hike. Both were incredible experiences.

Our 3rd day we drove back to Kigali with a quick stop at Kings Palace Museum. The drive is long but we loved looking at the landscape along the way.

We will definitely be back in Rwanda and will book with Kingfisher Journeys again. They were fantastic!
