Wonderful, well done boutique style hotel in Dakar. The rooms are simple, but done in a very artful way. The rooftop is the gem with a great breakfast/dinner/bar area for enjoying the views and just hanging out. Stayed here for four nights for a conference and it was well worth it.
What marks this hotel out is the staff. They are very efficient and friendly. The terrace is also great for all meals and is very relaxing after a day in Dakar (especially the markets). The rooms are fine. Bathrooms are small and there seems to be a problem with the drains at times, but again mention it to reception and they swing into action to sort it out. For business customers the conference room is pleaseant and well equipped and has a/c. Free wifi in all the rooms is also a plus.
Found this hotel on TripAdvisor and the reviews are right on. Staff was very helpful, not only with reservation but also with arranging car service for pickup at the airport. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, but a taxi stand is right outside the hotel, so that downtown and most other destinations in Dakar are a short taxi ride away. Highly recommended.
Great location in an established residential quartier with plenty of nice walks outside the door. Agreable, confortble avec une equipe sympabsurtojt Fanta et l'equipe bar-resto. Easy access to all points Dakar on the corniche.
A very friendly, efficient and beautiful hotel - in a great location- and there is a patisserie just down the road - easy to get to the airport, markets and generally out and about. Overall, it is the staff that make the experience so positive and the interesting décor and furniture inside.
The Djoloff provided an excellent experience for my week in Dakar. The staff are amazing and exude 'teranga' that the Senegalese are known for. It's a comfortable, cozy place well positioned near UCAD and the corniche in Fann-Hock. The rooftop bar, la Terrasse, is a lovely spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or drinks anytime. Thanks to the entire staff for a memorable and enjoyable stay.
