“Peaceful but pricy”
Reviewed 1 June 2013

Nice location on the peninsula. Food variable. Toilets miles from cabins, not a good idea when it is pitch black. Over priced compared to other beaches

“Pure natural beauty”
Reviewed 13 September 2012

Pristine beach, lovely local people. One of the most beautiful beaches in Sierra Leone, and we have several. Spend a night under the stars by a beach bonfire built into the sand, and don't forget to clean up after yourself before you leave. We must preserve our own.

“Just stunning”
Reviewed 9 July 2012

In my humble one of the best beaches in the world. Avoid public holidays as you might get one than 3 people on this glorious long stretch of sand. It is framed for much of its length by a brackish lake with Mangroves and forest covered hills.

Largely untouched by the 21st century. Salone is blessed with an incredible array of beaches and this is right up there. Can't comment on the hotel as didn't use it but hope this place remains as I remember it.
