Good choice of meal, with spacious area and relaxing ambience. Good and fast service. Big portion of meal and delicious. While waiting for your meal, you can go outside and view the Nile River and Tuti Island bridge nearby.

I was overwhelmed by the friendly service at Le Grill. Staff were welcoming and comfortably interacted with us. The food was good (not brilliant). In line with Sudanese law no alcohol is served, but the menu sports a large variety of non-alcoholic drinks. Although Le Grill was empty, I can imagine that the atmosphere will be electric during a big sports game and every table is filled. Before or after your meal be sure to go to the top floors for a view over the Nile and Tuti island. Prices are reasonable and compare well with those in other 'Western' restaurants in the city.

This restaurant is in the lower floor of the egg shaped Corinthia Hotel, also known locally as 'The Berg.' The hotel itself is pretty stunning - funded by Gadafi. The food is actually not bad but more expensive than most Khartoum restaurants especially as you have to pay an extra 17% VAT an 5% service charge on top of the menu prices. It has the ambience of a sports bar with large screens playing sport. Of course there is no alcohol served in this dry country, but I was surprised to have music in the background by Shaggy - particularly the song - 'Wasn't me!" Have your main course down here in Le Grill and if you can time it correctly go up in the partially glass elevator to the 17th floor for coffee afterwards and watch the sun go down over Khartoum - stunning stunning views through the glass sides..

3 weeks back I and my wife had dinner in Le Grill restaurant; we had nice cozy time. We have been in Le Grill many times and each time we go there we get more impressed with the food and service. Our hostess (Ammar) was moving around like a butterfly with the greeting everyone and making sure that all is OK. He is just a live example of 5 stars service. The food as usual was a life experience itself, my wife ordered Chili con carne and I ordered Jumbo Shrimps and it was just what we expected delicious and tasty and for the dessert we had the most mouthwatering Sacher double chocolate. Now we are planning to go there for Ramadan Iftar soon.
