check in was nice, the staff at the reception hard serious faces but were polite. the rooms were spacious and clean. breakfast was really bad. having a beautiful hotel at a nice location and serve that kind of breakfast does not match.
the swimming pool is big and has a nice view of the city. the gym staff are nice, and friendly.
been here twice and had to change hotels coz of the breakfast. i don't know about other meals coz i have only stayed on bed and breakfast.

Room Tip: top floor room for the best view

If you're looking for nice spacious rooms without service or good restaurant options... this is the place...

Location: It is right in the heart of Kampala...

Accommodation: Very good spacious rooms. Clean and kept well.

Food: No options... A Chinese Restaurant and a continental restaurant with very limited options.

Service: Pathetic...

Room Tip: Choose any room with a view of the pool... and go as high as possible...

Well a good place to stay in terms of rooms which are quite spacious, clean and well maintained. but need to work on breakfast options and lighting of hotel which are poor or not upto standard. I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and was served same spread every morning in buffet for breakfast. In terms of cost i would recommend this place but not in terms of food and and appearance.

Room Tip: Well all the rooms are same and there is no different spread for Executive rooms.

Big rooms, but musty and no air conditioning. Food verges on being some of the worst I have ever tried and I have travelled fairly widely. Level of staff incompetence is amazingly bad even by African standards, would have stayed at the Serena next door except a friend got me a ridiculously good deal. But even so not staying here again.

This hotel have proberly seen better days. The hotel is located nicely in the city center and is very big. I had the chance to stay only one night nice my first book hotel was overbooked.
The hotel is big and is the architecture is interesting with open hallways where you can see the other floors. Everything is dark and groomy, Black and fungus stain on the wall paper and the Whole hotel smells like fungis. The hotel could use a update in funiture and paint.
The bathroom was ok, but rest not ok.
The service was ok, but one person did not know what the other was doing so some misunderstading sometimes but they where helpfull.
Breakfast was below standard!
To be honest i will not stay here Again - but i will not scare others away, you just have to know about the standard.

Overall, the hotel is fine. Well located and very big rooms...Very pleasant and helpful staff. Free wifi is available. Maintainance/renovation works, especially in the rooms, are overdue...and rooms look a bit old.
