“Heavenly!”
Reviewed 31 July 2014

The Dochula Pass is the most accessible place for tourists to get a taste of high-altitude Bhutan. Mist-shrouded hemlock trees, cool fresh air, walking in the clouds, prayer flags, wonderful scenery. Every visitor to Bhutan should make the short trip to the pass to experience this peaceful and beautiful spot!

This perhaps one of the most beautiful place in Bhutan where foreigners can visit. Please carry an umbrella with you, as it rains about 300 days in a years.

“Walking in the clouds”
Reviewed 24 July 2014

This was one place enroute Thimphu - Punakha that is known for the Himalayan view. Unfortunately we visited Bhutan during the rainy season and could not enjoy the view. However, the weather gave us the thrill of walking in the clouds and with the clouds at Dochula. A must stop-over for all. Cheers!

“Most beautiful view”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

Dochula Pass is around one hours drive from Thimphu, but since road construction is going on sometime they close road for blasting, you to wait for 30 to 40 min. to open the road, but do not miss this. And during our wait we had best roadside Thupka and indian breakfast of aloo- puri. View of mountain is outstanding. they have 108 small temple also and Dochula Dzong. And very nice restaurant also.
