The hotel situated conveniently close to the main street has an amazing view of the Budhha statue from the rooms.
Although situated close to the market, there is hardly any hustle bustle disturbing the Traveller.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The food in the buffet was great.
Do try the cafe which has some good deserts.
Cons
1) A little laid back attitude. One day of our stay, there was no water for almost 2 hours in the morning and that too in the peak hours of the morning. Although the issue was rectified, these things should not happen specially in the peak tourist season

On a whole, I'll recommend this to others and I might come back

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The property is good. Rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is courteous too. The only problem is the service is not like a four star hotel which they claim to be. If you don't take a meal plan you are doomed as there is very limited option for ala- carte. Room service takes time and you have to remind them multiple times for anything you want...be it breakfast, sauna appointment or fixing water supply issue. There is a lot of room for improvement.

Our 1st night in Bhutan. Room is spacious and clean. Simple buffet breakfast and dinner ala carte. Do order dinner 2 portions for 4pax. The butter chicken is delicious. Do wear ear plug b4 sleeping. The dog 'geng' fight is noisy at night. Staffs are friendly and helpful . Be patience with their laid back culture.

We spent here just one night before we got reservation in Ramada for teh erst of the stay. The main snag is that it is somewhat cold, without any trace of Bhutanese tradition except for the uniforms of the concierge and restaurant staff.
The buffet is quite good

Our first hotel in Bhutan. Our check-in was done by our guide so we didn’t have any interaction with the front office staff. Room was clean, the bedding fresh and the bathroom was spacious and well-maintained, no loose taps, or cracked bits. Happy with the facilities. However, it got stuffy around midnight and only the next morning did we realise we could open a vent below the window to let the air in. We were not informed and thus had a pretty uncomfortable night.

Dinner on the first night at the hotel restaurant was buffet-style and it was superb. 2nd night, no buffet so we ordered ala carte. The restaurant staff were very polite and nice but would be good if the staff could advise on portions though. Two of ended up with enough to feed four.

The hotel is located in the heart of Thimpu city itself. We strolled the city one night with our guide, something I recommend you do when in Thimphu.

Overall, a hotel with good enough facilities but could improve on relaying information to guest.
