Myself and my husband stayed here for a month period of time and I cannot stress enough how amazing it was. Everything was so convenient, immaculate and it truly felt like home. I have not a single bad thing to say about brihat community. Everyone is so friendly, polite and it is definitely a place I would consider staying again on my next trip! Added bonus was the swimming pool which was very cold but very needed on very hot days! :) Suraj and Neeraj were perfect, attentive hosts and Neeraj was on hand to help if we ever needed it!
Me and my three friends could not have asked for a better place for our vacation in Kathmandu. We stayed at Vaidya Homes for a short span of 3 days but we had an amazing time there. We arrived a bit(1 -2 hour late ) but Neeraj was sweet enough to welcome us without any complaints. Physically the property looks as beautiful as in the photos provided on AIRBNB website. All the rooms were pretty clean and all the amenities were provided (washing machine, refrigerator, cooking utensils etc). As it is a small township there is a community gym, swimming pool, sauna on top of the hill with mesmerizing view. Personal Privacy was never a concern for us at this property as the people living there never interfered in what you were doing(this is what everyone needs in a holiday). Security wise it was perfect, guards were there at the main gate 24*7 and helped us whenever we needed any assistance. Market place is also nearby, if anybody needs to buy any utility products. The only issue is that the road that leads to this township(Vaidya Homes) is pretty bad and it takes some effort to reach there, but this small hiccup is worth it as you will be staying in a beautiful property. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and thums up to Suraj and Neeraj for taking good care of your guests and maintaining the essence of home stays. Keep up the good work!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! If Planning to go to Kathmandu, do yourself a favour and book this place ASAP!!
Kathmandu was a holiday for a specific reason - to support my partner's daughter who was beginning a 6 week external placement for her medical degree. She was staying in the city. It was not a place I would ordinarily choose being too full of people. Hence I tried to find somewhere out of the way and quieter and this met the criteria. About 30 minutes drive up a bumpy road from the city the home was clean and immaculately furnished and as portrayed in the photos. I think the only thing I would disagree with was the description of viewing the beautiful valley as from the roof top I could only see other houses, or on one side a rubbish filled hill. Maybe this is left from the earthquake and the fact that the community is still in a stage of development. However, compared to the city it was certainly peaceful and in the evening there was only the sound of crickets. (During the day there were a lot or barking dogs and construction activity but this was nothing compared to the traffic and horns and dust of the city) The hosts were incredibly responsive to the slightest problem and once sent round someone within half an hour to sort out what we thought was a problem with the electric which turned out to be simply the local issue with power cuts which was clearly described in the handbook. This was the only time this happened and there was no real problem with the electric or the Wifi during our whole time there. I would recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay within touching distance of Kathmandu, those wanting to get out of the city now and again, and anyone just wanting a nice clean home to stay in
