“Lovely courtyard setting”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

We returned to Gaia Kitchen after our first dinner there - which is always a good sign! The restaurant has both a lovely courtyard setting, with tables both in the courtyard as well us under the surrounding verandah - it also has an extensive indoors seating area. Service is attentive without being suffocating [you may occasionally need to catch a waiter's eye when they are very busy]. The food is very good, we had both meat and vegetarian offerings and both were very nice. The tofu sizzler could have been sizzled for a bit longer, so if you don't like your tofu floppy, maybe ask for it to be well-done! Their mash [as others have observed] is really very nice indeed.
Not quite sure why this restaurant isn't further up the popularity list.
Recommended.

“Nice atmosphere”
Reviewed 20 June 2014

We ate here on our last night in Kathmandu. We had momos and phad thai. The momos were good. The phad thai was ok. I think I chose poorly. The soups and breads looked fantastic

“Tasty, Clean, Cozy”
Reviewed 19 June 2014

After a week visited Kathmandu, this is the last restaurant i visit before i depart to Airport. The restaurant is clean and cozy with nice setting. Not so crowded and very relaxing.

i found their Western food is good, i think is top among others in Thamel. Dishes i will recommend is Masala chicken serve with Capati ( this is not western food, but me and my friends like this so much). You can also try their Kebab and Pasta. its nice too. :)

please check to my picture for all the food i ordered.
