The room was fine - and some of the staff were lovely and were very nice getting rid of mozzies from our room - the wifi didn' t work The main problem was the Tour Desk which is down the street We arrived in the evening and were not allowed to see our room until we had been interrogated about our plans for the time in Nepal - as we were short on time and had been advised what was a fair price for what we wanted we agreed to book with the company - the manager tried aggressively to force us to rent a car and told us horror stories about tourists being dragged off buses and having luggage stolen, we said that we would not be paying huge sums of money for a private driver - he then called over another man to talk about how that driver would have no work for the next few days - he pointed out hotels - I said I wanted to research them before agreeing to stay and this prompted him to make statements like 'you do not trust me this is a bad quality in a woman' and sent a staff member to watch us go on the internet and talk about trust - then the staff member watching me on facebook chat to my brother commented to my boyfriend that i was speaking to a boy on Facebook and...More
