The Shanker is an interesting building in pleasant gardens. The swimming pool is a bonus after a hard day sightseeing. The room was comfortable and everything worked (fridge, lights, shower, safe etc). It was only about 30 minutes walk to Durbar Square via the tourist area or the old part of town. The staff were pleasant and helpful.
