Don´t expect a 5-star-hotel, but for the room price I can highly recomment this Hotel in the heart of the Tourist area Thamel in Kathmandu. The rooms are clean and the People at the reception and in the Restaurant are super friendly and help you whenever you habe a Problem or a Special request. The breakfast can be taken on the terrace and ist the cheapest and best I have found since I am in Nepal. First, I have booked only 2 days, then I decidet ti stay 10 days. Very Close to the Garden of Dreams, a nice and quiet garden where you can relax on mats on the grass....

We stayed at this hotel at the edge of Thamel for five nights. The reception staff is extremely friendly and helpful, offering their help and services every time we saw them. We were given a free upgrade to a huge family room during our first night, as no room with a double bed was available. Rooms and linnens are clean, and we saw the halls being scrubbed every day during our stay. In can be a bit noisy during the nighttime, but this seems to be a given regardless of where you stay in the Thamel area.

I had a great time with no complaints at all. I came for trekking to Nepal so stayed 3 days first then went for trekking and came back and stayed 2 more days. Got picked up at airport , well you need to pay for that but I would say its better to pay than to get lost in your first visit to Kathmandu. Got my trekking managed with the help of the staff there in the hotel, it was well managed and everything went well. Rooms are satisfying, comfortable. Restaurant served good food and the location was perfect as it was right at the area called Thamel, a very popular tourist place in Kathmandu but not really noisy at all. I had a great holiday and would surely recommend this hotel to the travelers.

Room Tip: I stayed in the second building of the hotel opposite to main building, it has a terrace and I loved spending some time there with fresh air and a good sun...

Clean rooms and beds, clean bathroom, nice terrace for breakfast. Very, very helpful staff, they helped a lot with the luggage and airport transfer, bought us bus tickets to Pokhara, and they also arranged a city tour - Kathmandu - for us at a fair price. Good location, very close to Thamel. A bit noisy in the evenings (however, it is conveniently located close to a main boulevard), but very quiet and nice in the mornings.

This is our first stop in Nepal. We applied Visa in Kathmandu airport itself. Only 1 counter available for checking the visa application and made payment before we have to queue again for our passport to be stamp by immigration. It took us about 2 hours to do the Visa, My advise, plan to go to Nepal for more than 15 days. Less people and no queuing :). We are lucky that the hotel driver still waiting for us even we are late. The hotel charge 500 rupees for airport pick up. Nothing much to complaint, they have a really good hot shower (using gas) , provide us with hot water in a flask. Helpful staffs. Definitely a perfect location. Next to Thamel and Garden of Dream. 5 minutes walk to Kantipath (tourist bus station) if you plan to go to Pokhara , Chitwan etc by bus. Ask their staff to give you the electricity schedule if you think necessary.
