We stayed in Trekkers Home for 4 nights and although the facilities were very basic the service was great. We planned our whole itinerary in Nepal through the hotel manager and we were incredibly satisfied with the result. The staff is very honest, friendly and helpful and made our stay in Trekkers Home a good one. I would definitely stay here again.

When staying at Trekkers' Home we were able to easily organise with Dip (the manager) a 5 day trek in the Annapurna Mountain Range. He was incredibly honest when discussing prices in relation to details such as accommodation and food standards on the trek. For the price we paid the accommodation on the trek was satisfactory and the food was amazing. The best part of the trek was our guide Kapil, who even spent time with us when we arrived back in Pokhara, and even a few days later when we arrived back to Kathmandu. During the trek we were able to change our itinerary as we decided to spend a couple of days in Chitwan National Park after the trek. This was easily arranged by the Trekkers' Home staff. Back in Kathmandu the remainder of our holiday was spent at Trekkers' Home which is close to great bars, restaurants, and shops in Thamel.

I only booked a few nights here, but ended up staying for all of my time in Kathmandu. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and they helped me when I wanted to organise trekking and trips outside of the city. Rooms were good value and clean. No problems at all - I'd recommend this hotel to anyone!

We booked Trekkers home before arriving in Kathmandu, because of the good reviews and competitive price. The hotel certainly didn't disappoint. The rooms are clean, there's good wifi, hot showers and the is located in the heart of Thamel, close to shops, restaurants and bars. We couldn't of asked for more given the price of the room.

We were keen to organise a trek and the hotel manager, Dip, was more than happy to help. After sitting down for 30min, we were able to create a custom itinerary at a fraction of the cost advertised online or offered on the street. Dip organised our trekking guide, Kapil. Speaking great English (amongst 5 other languages), he was incredibly knowledgable of the trekking routes and mountain details. Kapil quickly became a good friend, even spending time with us in Pokhara and Kathmandu once returned.

I highly recommend Trekkers home, given its clean facilities, great location and value for money. More so, if you are looking to organise a trek or activity, the staff's ability to create a custom itinerary is priceless.
