I would not even rate a five star hotel as much as I would rate North Face Inn, just because of the friendliness and warmth of the place. Raju bhai, the best host in town! Raju bhai and his wife were so polite, kind and helpful. We stayed like it's our own home!

The food was home made and excellent. Wifi access available. Rooms were clean and comfy.
Raju bhai guided us with regards to what activities we could do. He arranged a cab for us so that we could see sunrise at sarangkot.

If you are staying in pokhara, look no further than this.

Room Tip: Try not to go for the rooftop as the top rooms get hot pretty easily. We chose the scond floor and i...

Situated at walking distance from Lakeside, the North Face Inn offers a quiet and clean place to stay. Thanks to Raju and his wife the visitor feels welcome as their slogan says: Come as a guest and leave as a friend. Johan Van Moorhem from Belgium.

The first congratulations to the owners Raju and his wife. They are very friendly and welcoming. I stayed in the dormitory which was very comfortable and for the price, a very attractive option if you want to stay in central lake side for cheap. Although, their main focus is for mid budget travellers with very well kept ensuite rooms.
Raju has been a trekking guide himself and can provide you great advice.
The food that I ate here was perfect. Muesli, noodle soup right down to the tea, perfect.
The location is on a side street a stone throw from Hallon Chowk. Peace and quiet, with a pretty garden and good views on clear days.
I will bring my family for a stay next time.

The price of any service than Email quotes even higher, I think the boss is not honest, in EMAIL write "the double room is $ 20 per day, including all taxes,
Until we check out, he received a $ 22 room rate per day, we learned that even the room should cost added 10% service charge, We are puzzled that the room was not clean up every day, the towels are not washed every day, why we to pay the service charge?? Furthermore sitting their family car to Nayapal or the airport more expensive than take a taxi on the 300 to 400 rupees and ask them to help us book domestic air ticket more expensive than he EMAIL quotes to 30 dollars! we have a feeling of being cheated! Although the room was clean, small garden is also very chic ... but we will never stay here again! very bad experience!

We had a great 3 nights at North Face Inn - Raju and his wife were very welcoming and helpful, including one night when one of our party had a little too much to drink. Raju also organised a very reasonably priced trip to the peace monastery for us with a private car.

Our triple room included a double bed (bonus!) and two singles, the shower was hot and there is a back-up generator when the power cuts out. Small touches give the place a family feel, such as the dolphin puppet on our room key and the "10Rs per liter" sign on the drinking water drawn by the kids.

Located a few minutes walk from the main street, there is everything you could need within walking distance but it is far enough away to escape the noise. We spent a good few peaceful hours just relaxing on the rooftop terrace. I would definitely stay here again if coming to Pokhara.

A big thank you to Raju & his wife & rest of the staff for the wondeful stay we had at north face inn. It was a family run hotel & we felt at home there. They were friendly & the room was fantastic. The location was near the mainstreet ( 2 mins walking) but away from all the bustling noises. It was also close to the bus terminal (less than 10mins away by car). We were supposed to stay at another place but at the last minute, we changed to north face inn as we booked the trekking with north face. It was during peak season and they were fully occupied for our 1st night. Raju helped to arrange our accommodation for that night at the hotel on the opposite road. As we booked our trekking through north face, they arranged a meeting with our guide, bishal & our porter to brief us on the needed stuff, expectation & even brought us on little shopping trip to get the items. It was our first long trek experience & it was fantabulous!! The trek & scenery was amazing & bishal was a very good guide..accommodating to all our whims & fancy, also not being pushy & told us to take our time, no need to rush..it was hard to say goodbye to the beautiful annapurna at the end of our trek. when we returned from the trek, our luggages were moved to our new room in north face & it was a big room facing the garden, more than enough for both of us. We could see the machapucchure aka fishtail peak from there. Had a really pleasant time with north face inn family in pokhara and hope to be back in the future to explore more wonderful treks Nepal has to offer.

We arrived by car from Kathmandu and got a lovely welcome from Raju and his family. We usually stay in budget accomodation when we travel with our family and this place was clean, friendly and well located. Raju was full of good advice both general and local and on our next visit to Nepal we will certainly get him to organize treks, equipment etc. Our family had two rooms on the platform overlooking Fish tail which was a lovely place to have a bit of breakfast and a cup of tea. Our favourite place to eat nearby was Sweet Memories and had a couple of enjoyable evenings at the local blues bar.Pokhara was a little bit noisy due to the food festival and the new year festivities so our sleep was disturbed a couple of times. However we enjoyed the fun and managed to fit in a few more peaceful activities including a walk up to the peace pagoda (beautiful views), a trip to the Tibetan monastery and a sunrise drive up the hill to see the mountains (blocked by clouds). Raju couldn't have been more helpful and finally organized a reasonable car ride to Chitwan for us. We will stay here again next time.

Room Tip: Second floor balcony rooms.
