The stay in Hotel Lake Star Pokhara,Nepal was indeed memorable. The staff was exceptionally friendly from, the gardener to the Operations Manager,Mr Bishnu, who was indeed very approachable and v friendly.Mr Pradip, the receptionist too was extremely pleasant. It is indeed v heart warming to experience such hospitality in a foreign land. The views were v spectacular. One can see the peak of Annapurna range from just outside the room.
I stayed for three nights and I will highly recommend this hotel,as even the places of interest like the Fewa Lake and Davi'Falls are in close proximity.

Room Tip: You may want to choose the rooms with the good views, which is not difficult

Lake Star Hotel is amazing. From rooms to staff. The rooms are clean and tidy, air conditioned and the hotel is in a very strategic location (not too far from the lake yet far enough not to be disturbed by the noises and traffic there) the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is very tasty and their portions are big and fulfilling. Stayed there for 8 awesome nights. The manager was very friendly yet professional and always did anything he could to keep the customers happy.

I felt like a home during stay Hotel Lake Star.
I visited this hotel last month and felt like a family.
They picked up from the airport .
The property is beautiful.
All the staff is excellent well behaved ,smiling and ready to help always .
Rooms are beautifully decorated, and there is a nice roof top view of himalayas.
It was great after a day exploring.
If I go pokhara again , I will stay there definitely.

Along with my family, I visited Pokhara from Kathmandu. The hotel was booked by an agent in kathmandu and was already paid for.
The rooms and infrastructure are good. The bathrooms very satisfactory. The view from the corner room was awesome. Location was ok. Walkable distance from the lake, though there are several hotels in that area with better locations.

The problem was with the attitude of the management. The manager Mr Bisnu was very rude and always showed as if is too busy to attend to you. The rest of the staff was ok but didn't do anything without consulting their manager. The manager didn't provide regular drinking water and forced us to buy overpriced mineral water bottles.
In short, the manager behaves like a local goon and doesn't care about your convenience.

Room Tip: I would suggest not to use this hotel.

We stayed at Lakestar Hotel in Pokhara for 4 nights on 19 - 23 May 2014. The rooms are very comfortable ,spacious with air conditioning and the price is cheap. It is centrally located, just a short walk to the popular Fewa Lake and the many shops. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Lovely lady receptionist, always ready to help with a smile. We plan to go back to Nepal this December and we'll definitely stay at this wonderful hotel.
