This was my second time came back to this "home-stay" hotel, it just like feeling back home!!! It is 24hours hot water shower and FREE WIFI even the power is cut off. I don't need to worry my phone will out of battery or read in the dark because they have back-up power to provide. The location is nice and just 10mins walk from the lake side, it's definitely out from noise. They have total 6 rooms with reasonable price, all rooms are clean n tidy, they also provide laundry service or we can actually hand wash the clothes and dry it at top floor. They able to manage the trekking tour to ABC with an experience guide and tourist bus to Kathmandu as well, these are what I have done and I really satisfied with all the arrangement and services provided by them, the most important was the price are fair and reasonable.
I am sure will come back again!!! ^^

This lovely little hotel is nestled just off one of the main streets down to Lakeside in Pokhara. This location, about ten or fifteen minutes from the buzzing tourist centre is perfect, as it allows you to relax in the garden in peace and quiet when it's all too much!

Narayan and Muna, who run the guest house, are the most wonderful couple. They are friendly, kind and full of life and they make this hotel what it is. Muna is always offering to make tea or coffee and is always happy to chat and improve her English, whilst Narayan, who runs another hotel in the town, is so helpful with arranging trips and taxis. The family's three lovely children are all so friendly, too. They love to chat and show you around Pokhara and will play games with you for hours if you're willing! They have made us feel like part of the family and we were privileged to have a lovely dinner with them on our last night here.

The price of the hotel is REALLY reasonable, especially given the welcome you receive. They offer 24 hour hot water and free Wi-Fi, which is very handy for keeping in contact with family. The rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds. Rooms on the first floor get a beautiful view of the mountains and peace pagoda, which is a fantastic thing to wake up to. They have back up batteries for the times when the power is not on elsewhere, so you will never be left in the dark, but a torch is must for the street!

In summary: coming to stay here will be the best decision you make while you're in Nepal. Worth every rupee!

The first thing one must say about Pokhaa Star Inn is the warm family that runs the place, they are extremely friendly and worried for their guests, so you can have the best time possible. The service they provide is awesome, they speak very good english so there's no problem with the communication. They provide very good tourism service and advise, use it! They have big rooms with an incredible hot shower, also generator for the electricity issues the city had, free and good wifi, really clean, a good place to sleep and rest.

We stayed two times in this places, before and after trekking in the Annapurna Conservation Area (Circuit and ABC), they keep our things for free for 20 days. Also, they provide free pick up from bus station if you booked in advance and let them know you will stay with them. One thing we did regret was that we didn't hire the porter/guide with Narayan, if you want one do it with them, we use other tourism agency that someone recommend us but it wasn't good, we should have listened the couple that recommend this place and their service.

The place is quite and beutiful, it's not in the center of the tourist area but just a 5-10 minute walk, that let you appreciate other psrts of Pokhara and it's people, not just the one of the restaurants and shops.

We enjoy our stay and we really love the family, a nice experince, we recommend it to everyone, you will not regret it!

I stayed in the Pokhara Star Inn for 6 weeks. We stayed in the apartment which was extremely clean, The rooms were of a good size and the bathroom had hot running water 24hours a day. It is set back from the road and is very quiet and peaceful at night. It is fantastic value for money.
The family were extremely welcoming and speak very good english. Narayan has worked in the tourist industry for 20 years so has a fantastic working knowledge of how to make the most of your time in Pokhara. He can help you organise treks and any activities at a discounted rate. Their daughter Barsha is happy to show you around the main town centre and the best places to go for shopping and sightseeing.

I would definatley recommend this hotel. They are the most welcomming people I met in Nepal and I really enjoyed my stay with them!

This small family run guest house is spotless clean (even by central European standards) and the family is very friendly.
Mune now has a Nepali - English phrasebook so it will be easier to talk with this kind person (I am sure your English will be great soon).
Narayan, her husband, is great. He is really friendly, helpful and smart. When I asked him (after having contacted a lot of paragliding operators) if he knew where I could rent a glider, he was able to help me almost immediately (thank you again Narayan!).
I hope that I will be able to come back to this great place in the future.

This small hotel is a perfect place to stay when you are looking for rest.
It is about 500 meter from the lakeside.
The owners and their 3 childeren are so nice people.
It is a place where you feel at home.
During the evening you can have a diner with them, this is very special.
The rooms on the first floor are quiet and the Wifi connection is here the best.

Room Tip: First floor rooms are quiet and the Wifi is the best on this level.
